Nethost is a Czech hosting and infrastructure provider operating since 1996, giving the company around three decades of experience with web hosting, cloud computing, virtualization, managed servers, networking, security, domains, and enterprise infrastructure. The legal entity is NETHOST s.r.o., registered in Brno under company ID 26226979 and VAT ID CZ26226979. Martin Kalenda and Jana Kalenda Hrabánková serve as statutory directors. In addition to Brno, the company has offices in Prague and Bratislava.

The scale of the operation is considerably larger than a typical local shared-hosting business, with more than 1,500 physical servers, 6,500 running systems, 65,000 registered domains, and 306,000 webhosting instances. Operational and security processes include ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 standards, while a significant part of the cloud, monitoring, networking, security, and customer-management environment is developed internally.

The Web Hosting range includes Easy, Standard, and flexible configurations. Easy provides 10 GB of storage, unlimited email accounts, backups, SSL, DDoS protection, dedicated system resources, continuous monitoring, and technical support. Standard increases storage to 30 GB, while Flexi begins at 50 GB and is aimed at customers needing customized resources or additional services. The hosting platform includes HTTPS, HTTP/2, current PHP versions, POP3/IMAP/Webmail, antivirus and antispam protection, cron jobs, logs, statistics, IDS/IPS security, and unlimited mailboxes. White-label hosting is also available for web agencies and developers that prefer Nethost to handle the technical infrastructure behind their own customer offering.

Cloud VPS is one of the strongest parts of the portfolio. Virtual servers run on Nethost-controlled hardware in Czech data centers and use geographically separated infrastructure interconnected by its optical network. VPS deployment can take less than a minute, with root or Windows administrator access, SSD/NVMe storage, daily backups, unlimited traffic, scalable CPU, RAM, and disk capacity, and multiple operating-system choices. Availability reaches 99.99%, and specialized configurations include higher-frequency CPU resources for workloads such as Remote Desktop.

The broader Cloud environment supports self-managed and managed infrastructure, private networking, geographically redundant deployments, private cloud architectures, clustering, dynamic scaling, and hourly resource accounting. Three independent availability zones are used, with two in Prague and one in Brno. Cloud Interconnect extends this environment with L3/BGP networking, encrypted communication, address translation, perimeter firewalls, and integration between private infrastructure and external cloud platforms.

Kubernetes can run in the Nethost cloud, on physical servers, on-premises infrastructure, or hybrid environments. Service levels range from basic deployment to monitored, managed, and fully managed Kubernetes. More advanced configurations include security maintenance, patching, monitoring, incident management, DevOps assistance, backups, S3 storage, VPN access, databases, autoscaling, and multi-location deployments. Hybrid environments can also connect with AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

For businesses that do not want to manage operating systems and infrastructure internally, Managed Servers and professional server administration cover Linux and Windows systems, 24/7/365 monitoring, operating-system updates, patching, backups, firewalls, IDS protection, DDoS mitigation, antispam services, and hardware support. Monitoring can operate at one-minute intervals, with a five-minute reaction target for managed systems.

Application Server Hosting provides a middle ground between standard VPS hosting and completely customized managed infrastructure. It supports LAMP environments, WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, PrestaShop, databases, mail servers, GitLab, Redmine, Docker, Nextcloud, Zabbix, Windows RDP, VPN gateways, and custom application stacks. This makes it particularly useful for business applications that require dedicated resources without requiring the customer to maintain every server component.

Nethost also supplies Dedicated Servers and physical server hardware and can combine hardware procurement with colocation, networking, monitoring, and server management. Customers can therefore place hardware acquisition and long-term server operation under the same provider rather than coordinating several suppliers.

Security is a particularly extensive part of the service range. Products include DDoS Protection, Spongefinger WAF, Spongefinger IPFW reputation filtering, Spongefinger Prelogin, continuous security monitoring, penetration and security testing, load testing, DDoS testing, and disaster-recovery solutions. Managed protection can additionally incorporate Cloudflare, with Nethost handling configuration, maintenance, and continuous monitoring. Spongefinger covers filtering from L3 through L7, web-application protection, access control, reputation filtering, redundancy, and upstream attack mitigation.

Storage services include Sponge S3 object storage and PDS Backup. Sponge S3 supports the Amazon S3 REST API together with SFTP, FTPS, RSYNC over SSL, and WebDAV. Storage is geographically distributed within the Czech Republic. PDS Backup adds geographically replicated storage, optional encryption before upload, SHA-256 integrity verification, automated replica repair, and high-speed recovery. Stored PDS data remains within the Czech Republic.

The portfolio also includes managed FTP servers, VPN servers based on technologies such as IPsec and OpenVPN, SMS gateway services, IP telephony, Zabbix monitoring, domain registration, DNSSEC, SSL certificates, hardware supply, disaster recovery, and infrastructure for e-commerce projects.

Nethost's domain services cover common extensions such as .cz, .sk, .com, .org, .net, .biz, .info, .name, and .us, together with more than 200 additional extensions through partner registries. DNS hosting is included with hosting plans, while standalone DNS service can be ordered separately. DNSSEC and SSL support add important security options for hosted domains.

The SSL certificate range extends beyond standard website certificates to DV, OV, EV, wildcard and SAN certificates, S/MIME certificates, code-signing certificates, client certificates, PKI-related solutions, and automated certificate deployment for hosting environments.

Nethost has also expanded into AI and Machine Learning infrastructure, including GPU computing, AI API/model access, dedicated AI hardware, private inference environments, and AI workloads hosted within its Czech cloud infrastructure. This gives businesses the option to operate traditional web infrastructure and computationally intensive AI workloads through the same provider.

The website is primarily available in Czech, with services generally priced in CZK. A complete English version does not exist. The website itself uses a modern responsive design suitable for current desktop and mobile devices.
