Mobicom Corporation LLC is one of Mongolia’s largest telecommunications and information technology groups, with operations dating back to 1996. The company began as a joint venture involving KDDI (kddi.com), Sumitomo Corporation (sumitomocorp.com), and Mongolia’s Newcom, later developing into a diversified group covering mobile communications, internet connectivity, enterprise ICT, data centers, cloud infrastructure, digital payments, digital content, and software development. In March 2016, KDDI increased its investment and consolidated Mobicom as a subsidiary, while KDDI’s 2026 corporate information places its capital contribution in MobiCom Corporation LLC at 98.8% including indirect ownership.

Mobicom Group operates on a considerably larger scale than a conventional local hosting provider.
