Minecraft Hosting Pro is a specialized game-server hosting company focused mainly on Minecraft, with Hytale also available through the same server configuration platform. The hosting brand dates to 2015, while the Romanian operating company, Starlancer SRL, was incorporated in Bucharest on October 16, 2017. The business concentrates on game hosting rather than conventional shared hosting, VPS, reseller hosting or generic dedicated servers.

The platform has expanded to seven server locations across North America, Europe and Oceania. More than 750,000 servers have been deployed under the brand, together with more than 7.4 million server boots. The wider network of regional hosting portals has accumulated more than two million accounts since 2015. Starlancer SRL recorded two employees in its 2025 Romanian statutory figures, although the game-hosting operation extends beyond the staffing count of the Romanian legal entity alone.

The hosting range begins with the Freeman trial server, which is free for ten days and does not require a credit card. It currently includes 3 GB DDR5 RAM and one Ryzen 7900 CPU core. This provides enough time to test latency, the management panel, plugins, server configuration and an existing Minecraft world before moving to a paid package.

The entry-level paid range includes Iron, Prime and Ultron. Iron provides 3 GB DDR5 RAM and two Ryzen 7900 CPU cores, Prime increases the allocation to 4 GB RAM and three cores, while Ultron provides 6 GB RAM and three cores. These packages are suitable for vanilla Minecraft, smaller SMP communities, Paper or Spigot installations, plugins and lighter modpacks. Player slots are unlimited, although practical capacity naturally depends on RAM usage, CPU load, plugins, mods, view distance and world complexity.

Larger Minecraft environments can use Lara, Orion and Thanos. Lara provides 8 GB RAM and four CPU cores, Orion increases capacity to 14 GB RAM and four cores, while Thanos includes 20 GB RAM and four cores. Lara is well suited to packs such as Better Minecraft, DawnCraft, RLCraft and Prominence II. Orion can accommodate larger modpacks including All The Mods 9, Craftoria and StoneBlock, while Thanos is the most suitable package for larger communities, ATM10 and heavily modified Minecraft environments.

Modded Minecraft is one of the strongest aspects of the service. The platform integrates CurseForge and Feed The Beast content and provides one-click deployment for more than 500 modpacks. Forge, NeoForge, Fabric, Paper, Spigot, Purpur, Bukkit, Sponge, Quilt, Mohist and custom JAR installations are supported. Java versions, loaders and server startup configuration can be handled directly through the hosting system, while customers can still upload their own plugins, worlds, configuration files and JAR files through WebFTP or SFTP.

Most standard servers use AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processors reaching up to 5.4 GHz, combined with DDR5 memory and dual NVMe storage. Minecraft benefits significantly from strong single-thread performance, making this type of high-clock CPU particularly suitable for game servers. Standard configurations can allocate up to four CPU cores, while the premium CPU option increases the allocation to six cores. Newer AMD Ryzen 9 9950X servers reaching up to 5.7 GHz have also entered production in Los Angeles and Miami.

Server hardware is specified, assembled and burn-tested internally before deployment. This gives the technical team direct control over CPU selection, memory, storage configuration and server stability rather than relying entirely on generic virtual-server configurations.

Storage uses NVMe SSD technology and current packages use an unmetered storage model rather than restrictive fixed storage quotas. Network connectivity is provided at 1 Gbit/s. Automatic and manual backups are available, with seven days of backup history included in the standard setup. An advanced backup option provides more granular recovery of individual files and folders.

Each server includes FTP and WebFTP access, a browser-based live console, scheduled tasks, automatic updates, server-version switching and a portless subdomain. A 100 MB MySQL database is available on eligible packages, including Prime and higher plans in the current budget range. Customers can also register .com, .net or .pro domains, while custom Minecraft server addresses can eliminate the need to enter a port number when connecting.

Another useful feature is MCDoctor.ai, which analyzes Minecraft crash logs and configuration problems. It works alongside the regular technical support system and can help identify common server failures more quickly. The control environment also includes player inventory administration, plugin management, world downloads, automated restarts and commands, player contribution or crowdfunding functions and instant package upgrades without deleting or moving the existing Minecraft world.

Hytale is also available as a selectable game using the same general hosting infrastructure and ordering system. The service remains firmly focused on game hosting and does not include conventional Linux shared hosting, Windows hosting, email hosting or reseller hosting packages.

Website localization is extensive. Minecraft Hosting Pro is available in 15 languages: English, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, Polish, Dutch, Hungarian, Hindi, Filipino, Vietnamese, Turkish, Indonesian and Czech. European customers can order services in EUR.

Some older technical documentation still refers to six locations, Ryzen 3900X processors or DDR4 memory, while the current infrastructure uses seven locations together with newer Ryzen 7900 and Ryzen 9950X systems.
