📄 Editorial Review

MikroVPS is a Hungarian web hosting and VPS provider operating since 2015. MikroVPS Kft. was incorporated on April 10, 2015, with János Csárdi-Braunstein associated with the business as founder. Its early infrastructure already included Xen and OpenVZ virtualization, SolusVM, web hosting, backups and internal networking, while operational server records extend back into 2014.

A significant corporate restructuring took place in 2025. MikroVPS Kft., already owned by NewPush Europe Kft., was merged into its parent company. Hosting services now operate legally through NewPush Europe Kft., while MikroVPS continues as the customer-facing hosting brand. The operating company is registered in Vác, Hungary, under company registration number 17-09-013203, Hungarian tax number 23885884-2-13 and EU VAT number HU23885884.

The wider NewPush organization has a considerably longer history, dating to 1999, and operates with a broader IT and infrastructure focus. MikroVPS itself serves more than 5,000 customers, giving the hosting operation a meaningful installed customer base despite its relatively specialized Central European profile.

The service portfolio is much broader than the MikroVPS name initially suggests. Products include Linux Shared Hosting, Windows ASP.NET Hosting, VPS, Reseller Hosting, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, Professional Email, Google Workspace, FTP Hosting and development environments through NewPush Labs. Managed services, security services and other infrastructure-related solutions are also available through the wider NewPush organization.

Linux shared hosting is divided into NVMe START, NVMe PLUS and NVMe PRO. START provides conventional managed cPanel hosting with NVMe storage, unlimited domains and traffic, SSH access, Python, Node.js, SSL certificates, daily backups and a 99.9% uptime SLA. Imunify360 adds malware and account protection, while AMD EPYC processors and DDR5 ECC memory provide a modern hardware foundation.

NVMe PLUS allocates additional CPU and memory resources and includes a dedicated IP address. Configurations extend from smaller 1 GB storage accounts to packages with 20 GB NVMe storage, up to four vCPU and 3 GB RAM. CloudLinux 8 isolates hosting accounts, while Python, Node.js, daily backups, SSL, cPanel and CDN support are included.

The higher-end NVMe PRO range uses fifth-generation AMD EPYC 9005/Turin processors, DDR5 ECC memory and enterprise U.3 NVMe storage in RAID. Web serving is handled by LiteSpeed Enterprise, with LSCache and Redis available for applications that benefit from aggressive caching. Dedicated IP addresses are included, while plans reach 8 vCPU and 16 GB RAM. The infrastructure uses a 25 Gbit redundant uplink, together with CloudLinux 8, JetBackup and selectable PHP versions from 7.4 through 8.4. cPanel-to-cPanel migrations are included for PRO customers.

Windows users have a separate Plesk ASP.NET Hosting range running on Windows Server. It supports ASP.NET, .NET Core, MSSQL databases, Let's Encrypt SSL and POP3/IMAP/SMTP email. Storage options range from 20 GB to 200 GB, while Plesk is used to manage websites, databases and mailboxes. Windows hosting also carries a 99.9% availability commitment.

The EPYC VPS platform uses fifth-generation AMD EPYC processors, DDR5 ECC memory, NVMe storage and KVM virtualization. Customers receive full root access, one IPv4 address, IPv6 connectivity, DDoS protection and Linux or Windows operating-system options. Main configurations range from 1 GB RAM upward, with plans reaching 8 GB RAM and four vCPU in the standard range. VPS nodes use 10 Gbit/s networking, while additional IP addresses, enhanced security and managed administration can be added when required.

NewPush Labs provides ready-to-use development and test environments for developers, DevOps engineers, security specialists, students and corporate training. Configurations range from 4 GB to 32 GB RAM and include a web interface, SSO, Traefik ingress, Portainer templates and monitoring. Available environments cover Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Node.js, Python, PHP, Grafana, Loki and security-oriented tools.

Reseller Hosting uses cPanel and WHM and is suitable for web agencies, developers and hosting resellers. Packages provide 10 GB to 200 GB storage, 10 to 50 customer accounts, daily backups, SSL and overselling support. Traffic allowances extend from 200 GB to 4,000 GB, with the same 99.9% SLA applied to the service.

Domain registration covers more than 1,000 TLDs. Services include new registrations, transfers, DNS management, WHOIS privacy, domain locking and automatic renewal. MikroVPS is also associated with .hu domain registration activity and maintains RIPE NCC and ARIN-related network resources.

Professional email can be purchased independently from web hosting. Packages provide 15 GB to 100 GB storage per domain with unlimited mailboxes, forwarding, aliases, POP3/IMAP/SMTP access, catch-all functionality and webmail. Spam and virus filtering, daily backups and a 30-day recovery option are included, together with a 99.9% uptime guarantee. Google Workspace Business Starter, Standard, Plus and Enterprise Plus subscriptions are also available with setup and migration assistance.

For file storage and transfer, FTP Hosting offers 10 GB to 100 GB packages with unlimited FTP users and traffic. FTP, SFTP, SCP and RSYNC are supported, making these accounts useful for remote file storage, automated transfers and backup workflows. FTP Hosting also carries a 99.9% availability SLA.

SSL certificates are available from RapidSSL, Sectigo and GoGetSSL, covering single-domain, wildcard, multi-domain and public-IP SAN requirements. Installation is included when the protected website is already hosted by MikroVPS.

The website is available in Hungarian and English. Pricing can be handled in different currencies, with HUF and EUR available across the hosting environment and USD also used for VPS pricing. The website has a modern responsive design and provides direct access to the major hosting, VPS, domain, email and security products.
