Mexagon is a Mexican telecommunications, hosting, data-center, and business-software provider operating since 2003. The company works under the legal name Mexagon S.A. de C.V. and serves businesses that prefer locally managed Internet infrastructure, Spanish-language assistance, and billing in Mexican pesos.

Its portfolio extends well beyond conventional web hosting. Mexagon provides Linux and Windows shared hosting, reseller hosting, Linux and Windows VPS, server rental, dedicated-server administration, server colocation, bandwidth packages, corporate email, cloud storage, external backups, domain registration, SSL certificates, VPN connectivity, managed firewalls, network security, application development, IT consulting, and electronic invoicing solutions.

Shared hosting is organized into PYME, Empresarial, Corporativo, Corporativo Plus, and Corporativo 5GB packages. Depending on the selected configuration, customers receive Linux or Windows hosting, email accounts, FTP access, MySQL databases, webmail, subdomains, traffic allowances, PHP and Perl support, visitor statistics, protected directories, and a web hosting control panel. Domain registration is generally purchased separately from the hosting service.

The Reseller Hosting packages provide separate administration levels for Mexagon, the reseller, the reseller’s customer, and the final website user. The interface can be personalized with the reseller’s identity, making the service suitable for web designers, agencies, IT consultants, and small hosting businesses. Available packages accommodate between 10 and 80 hosted customer websites, with total storage allocations ranging from 10 GB to 80 GB.

Mexagon’s VPS range includes several Linux configurations and a larger Windows Server option. Linux VPS customers receive root access, dedicated resources, DNS hosting, MySQL, Apache, SSL support, server monitoring, email services, spam filtering, and ISPConfig. Additional services cover operating-system installation, backup assistance, managed administration, IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, and ongoing server maintenance.

Infrastructure services include individual server colocation, additional rack units, complete 42U cabinets, dedicated electrical circuits, traffic packages, and unlimited-transfer network ports. Customers can also purchase server rental, XEN virtualization administration, dedicated-server management, VPN monitoring, operating-system maintenance, security management, and external backup capacity.

The Corporate Email platform is registered with Mexico’s Instituto Federal de Telecomunicaciones under registration SVA-097/2009. It includes 10 GB mailboxes, administrator and user panels, webmail, POP3, IMAP, encrypted SSL connections, domain aliases, forwarding, automatic replies, mailing lists, calendars, contact synchronization, antivirus scanning, and antispam protection.

MXCloudFS provides cloud-based file storage and synchronization through a web interface, desktop software, and mobile applications. External backup services are available through VPN, FTP, SFTP, and NAS-oriented configurations, giving companies several options for keeping business data outside their primary systems.

Domain services cover registrations and transfers for extensions such as .com, .net, .com.mx, .mx, .org.mx, .biz, .info, .tv, .cc, and .ws. SSL certificates can also be ordered through the customer portal.

A significant part of the business is dedicated to Mexican electronic invoicing. Facturación-MX supports CFDI generation, payroll, inventories, CRM functions, document storage, reporting, branch administration, and integration with existing ERP systems. This combination makes Mexagon especially practical for Mexican SMEs that want hosting, email, technical infrastructure, and fiscal software from the same supplier.

The website is mainly available in Spanish, while product billing can be displayed in MXN or USD. Some hosting tables still contain older technologies such as FrontPage extensions, PHP 4, MySQL 4, Tomcat 4, Telnet, Windows Mobile, and Symbian. Resource limits also differ between some general product tables and the customer ordering portal.
