MegaCP / 3 in 1 Hosting Bt. is a long-established Hungarian hosting and domain provider operating from Szigetszentmiklós. The legal company, 3 in 1 Hosting Számítástechnikai és Szolgáltató Betéti Társaság, was established on September 6, 2005, while the megacp.com domain was registered shortly before that, on August 1, 2005. Szabó Tamás is the managing director and one of the owners, together with Szabó-Kiss Bernadett. Recent corporate information places the business at around four employees and approximately HUF 118 million in annual revenue for 2025.

MegaCP follows a traditional hosting-provider model centered on domain registration, cPanel shared hosting, InterWorx shared hosting, managed XEN VPS, DNS hosting, SSL certificates and website development. Reseller hosting and standalone email hosting remain part of the company's older service portfolio, although new reseller accounts have not been accepted since 2010 and new standalone email hosting has not been sold since 2011.

The website operates in Hungarian, with hosting and related products primarily priced in HUF. No English localized version exists. The interface has a noticeably older, table-oriented design compared with newer hosting platforms and is less comfortable on modern displays and mobile devices. The infrastructure behind the service is considerably more current, including NVMe and SSD RAID10 storage, replicated databases, IPv6 support and multiple data-center locations.

Hungarian cPanel hosting is one of the strongest current products. A new cPanel server entered service on January 15, 2026 with 36 CPU cores running at approximately 3 GHz, 192 GB RAM and RAID10 NVMe storage. New accounts use PHP 8.4 and MySQL 8.4 by default, while PHP 7.4, 8.0, 8.2, 8.3 and 8.5 can also be configured through support. MySQL data is replicated to two additional servers.

cPanel plans range from approximately 1.3 GB to 96 GB of storage and include unmetered monthly traffic, unlimited databases, unlimited email accounts, subdomains and additional domains. Depending on the package, one or two domain registrations are also included.

The Hungarian cPanel environment is connected with infrastructure in the Victor Hugo Street and Kozma Street areas of Budapest. Account activation is normally completed within 12 hours.

InterWorx hosting is available through several separate product families. The standard cluster environment distributes hosting functions across multiple systems and uses RAID10 SSD storage, daily backups to an independent server and replicated MySQL databases. Plans begin around 2.5 GB and extend beyond 200 GB, with unmetered data transfer and support for multiple domains, email accounts and databases.

A newer non-cluster InterWorx platform provides larger storage allocations at comparatively low annual prices. It uses PHP 8.3, MySQL 8.0, PHP-FPM and RAID10 SSD storage. MySQL databases are replicated to two additional servers, resulting in copies across three separate server-room locations. IPv6 connectivity is also available.

The InterWorx VIP range is intended for customers wanting lower server density. The relevant systems are limited to approximately 50 hosting accounts and include multiple daily backups, IPv6, a separate database server and additional database replication. These plans cost more than normal shared hosting but provide a less crowded environment for business websites and heavier applications.

MegaCP also provides German shared hosting through both InterWorx and cPanel. The German infrastructure is located in Falkenstein, Germany, within facilities operated by Hetzner Online. German InterWorx plans begin at around 3 GB and extend to substantially larger capacities while retaining unmetered traffic, email, database and multi-domain capabilities.

The German network environment includes Deutsche Telekom connectivity together with Level 3, Global Crossing, LambdaNet and DE-CIX. Hosting servers use 1 Gbit/s network connections, and the German infrastructure includes a four-hour hardware-replacement target.

Managed VPS hosting uses XEN virtualization with InterWorx. It is a managed service rather than a conventional unmanaged VPS, so customers do not receive SSH root access. Operating-system configuration and web-service administration remain under MegaCP's control.

The managed VPS range begins with 4 GB guaranteed RAM, 50 GB storage and four CPU allocations and scales to configurations with 32 GB RAM, 200 GB storage and eight CPU allocations. Daily backups, an InterWorx license, dedicated IP addresses and included domain registrations are part of the packages. The physical VPS nodes use at least two 10-core Intel Xeon processors and eight SSDs configured in RAID10.

This managed structure is particularly suitable for businesses needing VPS-level separation and resources without maintaining Linux themselves. Administrators wanting unrestricted root-level control will find the service more restrictive.

MegaCP also maintains a managed DNS hosting platform with its own browser-based control panel. Standard record types such as A, CNAME and MX are supported. Five geographically separated nameservers are used, including two systems in Hungary and additional servers in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The DNS service also includes five MX servers, spam filtering, virus filtering and backup-MX functionality. Packages range from management of approximately 25 domains up to configurations capable of handling 50,000 domains.

Domain registration covers Hungarian, European and international extensions. Standard registrations include three independent nameservers located in different countries, DNS management, URL redirection, spam and virus filtering and backup MX functionality.

SSL certificates are available as a separate product, although normal hosting customers generally have free SSL available with their hosting account. cPanel domains receive trusted certificates automatically after DNS has been correctly directed to the server, while InterWorx supports Let's Encrypt certificate generation directly from the hosting control panel. Commercial RapidSSL and QuickSSL certificates remain available for customers requiring paid certificates.

Website development is another part of MegaCP's portfolio. The company handles new websites, portals, expansions and redesign projects, allowing customers to combine domain registration, hosting and website development with the same provider.

The technical side of MegaCP is stronger than the dated storefront initially suggests. The 2026 cPanel hardware upgrade, RAID10 NVMe storage, SSD-based InterWorx systems, replicated MySQL databases, independent backups, IPv6 and geographically distributed DNS infrastructure make the service considerably more capable than its older visual presentation might imply.
