For managing the KVM platform you have access to the SlousVM control panel and unlimited traffic with a connection speed from 1GB external and metropolitan. Whichever package you choose, our team will be responsible for monitoring the virtual machines every 5 seconds. We perform daily node backups and make sure there is a redundant infrastructure to protect your data.
We offer a wide range of operating systems with different versions: CentOS 5.x, CentOS 6.x, Ubuntu 10.x, 11.x Ubuntu, Debian 5.x, Debian 6.x, Fedora 10.x FreeBSD 8 . x, Windows 2003, Windows 2008.

M247.ro is no longer active as a standalone Romanian hosting website. The domain now redirects into the wider M247 Global / M247 portal ecosystem, while the actual business continued through M247 Europe SRL and the international M247 infrastructure group. This was a local-domain migration and brand consolidation, not a complete disappearance of the company.The original M247 business started in 2000 in Manchester, founded by Jonathan Buckle and Chris Byrd. The Romanian company, M247 Europe SRL, was incorporated on 17 May 2012 in Bucharest and became one of the stronger local infrastructure providers in Romania. In June 2025, the UK-only M247 business was sold to Convergence Group, while the wider international hosting, cloud and connectivity direction continued separately through the global M247 operation.
Historically, M247.ro covered a broad hosting and infrastructure portfolio: Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Managed Servers, Colocation, Cloud Hosting, Private Cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud, IP Transit, IXP connectivity, VPN Servers, Backup, Disaster Recovery and DDoS protection. For smaller clients, the older Romanian offer included cPanel-based web hosting and reseller hosting. For business and enterprise customers, the stronger side of M247 was infrastructure: dedicated servers, carrier-neutral colocation, BGP/IP transit, cross-connects, private VLANs and low-latency European connectivity.
M247 Europe was not just a simple hosting reseller. The Romanian operation used its own network infrastructure, associated with AS9009, and built a strong reputation around high-bandwidth servers, connectivity and data-center services. The company also became financially substantial in Romania, with 125.55 million RON turnover in 2024, 30.87 million RON net profit, and 70 employees.
The old M247.ro identity is now inactive, but the business behind it continued as part of a larger global infrastructure platform. The current M247 Global presence works in English and Romanian, and the international footprint includes locations across Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, Latin America and the Middle East.
