LusoVPS is an independent Portuguese hosting provider operated by LusoVPS, Unipessoal, Lda., headquartered in Póvoa de Varzim, near Porto. The hosting operation started in 2011, while the current legal company was incorporated on May 17, 2013. Filipe Fernandes founded the business, with Miguel Fernandes serving as co-founder and server administrator.

The company specializes primarily in VPS hosting, offering Xen VPS, KVM VPS, NVMe VPS, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, low-cost virtual servers and a larger Semi-Dedicated Xen VPS. A small Shared Hosting package is also available. The service range is most suitable for developers, system administrators, game servers, backup systems, application hosting and customers comfortable managing their own operating system.

The KVM NVMe Finland range starts with 1 GB RAM, one virtual CPU, 20 GB storage and 1 TB of traffic for €5 per month. It scales through 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB configurations, reaching 320 GB storage and 6 TB of traffic for €80 per month. These packages include one IPv4 address, one IPv6 address, weekly backups, SolusVM and 24/7 support. They are unmanaged, so operating-system administration, security updates and application maintenance remain the customer’s responsibility.

The KVM Germany range uses RAID 10 HDD storage and starts at €10 per month for 2 GB RAM, 75 GB storage and 2 TB of traffic. CPU resources are fair-share, and sustained full CPU consumption can be restricted to protect the virtualization node from abusive workloads.

Most Xen configurations include dedicated RAM, swap on Linux PV packages, one IPv4 address, IPv6 in many locations, SolusVM, 24/7 support and either RAID-protected storage or weekly backups.

Package availability varies considerably by country. Netherlands configurations may be unavailable, while Portugal, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States generally maintain active product categories. Customers should confirm availability directly in the shopping cart before planning a deployment in a specific location.

Linux and Windows variants are available in several countries. Windows packages do not include a Microsoft license, so the customer must provide a valid license during installation. This reduces the initial VPS price but adds an important licensing requirement for Windows Server users.

This is an inexpensive option for a compact website, landing page or small email-light project, although the 1 GB storage limit is restrictive for larger WordPress installations.

The website works on smaller screens, but its visual design and organization are dated.
