LucusHost is an independent Spanish hosting provider founded in 2018 by Jonathan Martínez, who continues to lead the company as CEO. The business is based in Lugo, Galicia, and operates with a compact team focused primarily on Spanish-speaking customers. Although the LucusHost brand is relatively young, its founder brought more than two decades of experience in web hosting and domain registration to the company.

The service is particularly suitable for websites targeting Spain. The customer area, hosting control panels, documentation and technical support are centered on the Spanish language, while prices are displayed in euros. The website has a modern and responsive layout that works well on current desktop and mobile devices.

Its product portfolio includes shared NVMe hosting, elastic hosting, reseller hosting, Node.js hosting, email hosting, CMS-optimized hosting, Linux VPS, domain registration and commercial SSL certificates. The range covers personal websites, online stores, development projects, agencies and growing business applications. Dedicated servers, Windows servers and colocation are not part of the current offering.

The standard SSD NVMe Hosting packages combine NVMe storage with LiteSpeed, HTTP/3, CloudLinux, CageFS account isolation, Imunify360 protection and a web application firewall. Free SSL certificates, Spanish IP addresses and cPanel in Spanish are included. The entry-level Junior package provides 15 GB of storage, 1,536 MB of RAM and a 125% CPU allowance, while the larger plans increase capacity to 50 GB of storage, 3,072 MB of RAM and two vCores.

Traffic and email accounts are not metered within the normal technical limits of the platform. Developer-oriented functions include SSH, Git, Composer, selectable PHP versions, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Customers also receive an application installer, staging tools and free domain registration with qualifying packages. Integration with the CDN operated by Cloudflare can improve caching, security and global content delivery.

The backup system is one of the strongest features of the shared-hosting range. Premium Backup creates two copies each day and retains restore points for up to six months. Customers can restore individual websites, databases, applications and mailboxes through the customer area instead of requesting a complete account rollback.

Specialized hosting packages are available for WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Moodle, Joomla and Drupal. These plans share the same general resource structure as the standard hosting packages, with prices and allocations increasing across four levels. Their main advantage is the application-specific environment and management toolkit.

WordPress and WooCommerce packages include WP-CLI and LiteSpeed Cache integration. Drupal users receive Drush, while Joomla receives its own LiteSpeed caching support. Moodle hosting can use OPcache, APC, Redis and Memcached, which is especially useful for larger educational platforms with many concurrent users.

Elastic Hosting serves customers who have outgrown conventional shared hosting but do not want to administer a VPS. Configurations can be adjusted between 50 and 300 GB of NVMe storage, 3,584 and 10,240 MB of RAM, and two to ten vCores. LucusHost manages the server environment, while customers retain access to cPanel, SSH, Git and WP-CLI.

This managed scaling model is well suited to busy WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores, agency portfolios and applications with variable resource requirements. CPU, RAM and storage can be increased without moving immediately to a self-managed virtual server.

Reseller Hosting starts with 20 GB of storage and support for ten individual cPanel accounts. Larger configurations extend to 300 GB and as many as 100 accounts. Every hosted customer receives a separate control panel and independent resource allocation, while the reseller manages packages and accounts through WHM.

The reseller service includes private-label DNS, unmetered traffic, SSL certificates, staging, daily backups and 24/7 assistance. It is a practical solution for web designers, developers and small agencies that want to manage multiple clients without operating their own server infrastructure.

Node.js Hosting provides a managed environment for JavaScript applications. The packages include between 15 and 30 GB of NVMe storage, 2,560 to 3,584 MB of RAM and up to two vCores. Customers receive NPM, selectable Node.js versions, SSH, Git, PostgreSQL, MySQL, cPanel, SSL certificates, staging and backups.

Applications that require more CPU or memory can move to Elastic Hosting, which also supports Node.js. This creates a useful progression from entry-level application hosting to higher guaranteed resource allocations without moving immediately to an unmanaged VPS.

Email Hosting is available separately for customers who need professional mailboxes without website hosting. The Mini plan includes 5 GB of storage and ten mailboxes, while the Maxi plan includes 20 GB and 50 mailboxes. Both packages provide cPanel, Roundcube and Horde webmail, antivirus protection, spam filtering, forwarding, autoresponders and Premium Backup.

The Linux VPS range begins with one vCore, 1 GB of guaranteed RAM and 15 GB of NVMe storage. Larger packages extend to six vCores, 8 GB of RAM, 100 GB of NVMe capacity and a 200 Mbps connection. Traffic is unmetered, and each server includes a dedicated Spanish IPv4 address, root access, SSH, firewall protection, DDoS mitigation and daily backups.

An additional 25 GB backup allocation is included separately from the primary VPS storage. Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS are standard operating-system choices, while other Linux distributions can be requested. Management is optional on the larger packages, but the entry-level Junior VPS remains unmanaged.

cPanel can be added to VPS services as a paid license. Server resources can be upgraded without discarding the existing configuration, and migration assistance is available for managed customers.

Domain registration covers common international, Spanish and newer extensions. Domain services include real-time DNS administration, WHOIS management, transfer locking, access to authorization codes and free web or email forwarding.

Commercial SSL certificates are also available for customers who require organization validation, extended validation or wildcard protection beyond the free domain-validated SSL included with hosting. Available products include PositiveSSL, PositiveSSL Wildcard and PositiveSSL EV.

Customers can test the principal hosting products for 15 days without entering payment information. Hosting contracts do not require a long-term commitment, although automatic renewal is activated by default.
