LocalHost.tn is a Tunisian web-hosting provider founded by Majdi Mgaidia and commercially launched in 2013. The company initially focused on making locally hosted websites, email and domain services accessible to Tunisian students, entrepreneurs, media organizations and businesses, with ordering and payment available in Tunisian dinars.

On November 28, 2016, LocalHost.tn became part of Ooredoo Tunisia. The acquisition connected the hosting operation with Ooredoo’s telecommunications, cloud and data-center capabilities in Tunisia. Ooredoo Tunisie is now the contracting entity responsible for hosting, professional email and domain-name services delivered through the LocalHost brand.

The service portfolio covers Linux shared hosting, reseller hosting, Tunisian and international domain registration, SSL certificates, professional email and custom dedicated-server solutions. The range is suitable for personal websites, small businesses, local organizations, agencies and resellers that prefer Tunisian hosting and local-currency billing.

The principal shared-hosting package is the Pack Mutualisé Illimité, also known as the Pack Illimité. It includes unlimited storage, bandwidth, hosted domains, parked domains, subdomains, MySQL databases, email accounts and SSL certificates. Customers also receive IMAP, POP and SMTP access, Roundcube webmail, catch-all addresses, spam filtering, antivirus protection, autoresponders, email forwarding, phpMyAdmin, an online file manager, password-protected directories, AWStats, access logs and customizable error pages.

Website transfers from another hosting provider can be completed without an additional migration fee. Customers can manage PHP settings from the hosting control panel, although the technical documentation still contains references to obsolete PHP branches. Dedicated hosting is prepared according to individual requirements rather than sold through a fixed catalog. Dell and HP server hardware is available, with configurations selected according to processor, memory, storage and application requirements.
