LEFTOR is a Bosnian hosting, domain, infrastructure, and software-development company based in Tuzla. Its hosting activity dates back to 1998, while the current legal entity, LEFTOR d.o.o., was established in 2006. Founder Kristijan Smiljanić obtained the initial business capital after winning an Austrian entrepreneurship-program competition at the University of Tuzla with the best prepared and presented business plan.

The company expanded partly through consolidation of smaller local hosting businesses. On November 20, 2007, LEFTOR acquired the hosting business of Multicom d.o.o. and became the legal and financial successor for its prepaid hosting customers. In 2008, Megri d.o.o. transferred its hosting customers and hosting technology to LEFTOR after changing its core business. On September 5, 2011, LEFTOR acquired an ownership interest in GameHosting (gamehosting.ba) and assumed the corresponding legal and financial obligations, including continued service for customers who had already paid in advance.

This history gives LEFTOR substantially more hosting experience than the 2006 incorporation date alone suggests. The company now handles hosting and domain services for more than 7,800 customers. It remains a relatively compact privately held technology business rather than part of a large international hosting conglomerate.

The portfolio includes Linux Web Hosting, Windows Hosting, Specialized Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, domain registration, SSL certificates, Audio Streaming, Website Builder services, web design, custom web development, mobile application development, e-commerce development and online-payment integration. Hosting remains one of the main business areas, but LEFTOR also has enough software-development capability to handle projects that extend well beyond a conventional shared-hosting account.

PRO Web Hosting is the principal Linux shared-hosting family. Current packages use NVMe SSD storage, beginning with 10 GB on PRO mini and increasing through 20 GB, 30 GB, 60 GB and 250 GB before reaching PRO Unlimited. Traffic, email accounts and MySQL databases are unlimited throughout the current PRO range, while a domain and SSL certificate are included.

PRO hosting uses cPanel and supports PHP, Perl, Ruby, phpMyAdmin, Roundcube webmail, POP/IMAP, SMTP, autoresponders, website statistics, password-protected directories, antivirus and antispam functions. Sitejet Builder is included with the current packages, giving customers a graphical way to build a website without relying completely on a CMS or custom development.

Automatic daily, weekly and monthly backups are available. For important business data, independent backup copies are still advisable because the general service conditions do not make backup availability an unconditional guarantee.

One of the practical advantages of PRO hosting is the included domain. Eligible extensions include .BA, .CO.BA, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO and .BIZ, which reduces the initial cost for customers starting a new website.

WIN Web Hosting provides the corresponding Microsoft-oriented environment and uses Plesk. It supports ASP.NET, classic ASP, C#, Access, Microsoft SQL Server, PHP, Perl and MySQL. Packages begin with smaller configurations providing 1 GB of storage and 40 GB of monthly transfer and scale to 25 GB configurations with unlimited monthly transfer, substantially larger email allocations and multiple Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Windows hosting remains useful for businesses maintaining applications that depend on Microsoft technologies and cannot simply be moved to a conventional Linux/PHP account. Some of the Windows technical documentation still contains older Windows Server and SQL Server terminology, so customers dependent on a particular .NET, Windows Server or SQL Server release should confirm the exact production version before deployment.

Specialized Hosting sits between ordinary shared hosting and a fully independent server. It is intended for portals, online shops, forums and customized applications with significantly higher traffic or resource consumption. SPECIAL M is suitable for roughly 20,000 unique visitors per day, SPECIAL L for around 40,000, while SPECIAL XL targets approximately 80,000 or more.

These environments provide considerably more resource flexibility than normal shared hosting together with continuous website monitoring, server optimization, cPanel, NVMe storage, DDoS firewall protection, optional Redis caching and load balancing where required. Up to two hours per month of software-team optimization assistance is included. This makes Specialized Hosting particularly useful for customers whose website has exceeded shared-hosting limits but who do not want the administrative responsibility of a VPS.

Reseller Hosting uses cPanel and WHM. Resellers can create separate customer hosting accounts, define their own packages, allocate resources, suspend or terminate accounts and provide individual cPanel access to their customers. Current reseller configurations support approximately 20, 60 or 100 cPanel accounts and provide around 80 GB, 160 GB or 300 GB of storage respectively, with unlimited monthly transfer and SSL certificates.

The VPS range provides root or administrator-level access and greater isolation than shared hosting. VPS MINI includes 1 GB RAM, 20 GB storage, one processor allocation and 1 TB of traffic. MIDI increases this to 2 GB RAM, 40 GB storage and 2 TB of traffic, while MAXI provides 4 GB RAM, 80 GB storage, two processor allocations and 4 TB of traffic.

A static IP address, VNC access, SSH or Remote Desktop, a 1 Gbit network interface and a separate server-management panel are included. Linux can be installed directly, while Windows can be used when the customer provides the appropriate license.

The VPS management environment allows customers to reset the server, reinstall the operating system, access the VNC console and perform basic virtual-machine management without waiting for manual support intervention. Resources can also be increased when a project outgrows its initial configuration.

Domain registration is another established part of the business. LEFTOR handles .BA and .RS domains together with numerous Bosnian, Serbian and international extensions such as .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .EU, .HR, .DE, .ME, .CO and .TV. Many international domains can be registered for periods between one and ten years, while national extensions can have their own registration procedures and eligibility requirements.

The mojWeb service combines website creation, hosting, a domain, email and the underlying technical infrastructure into one package. It is aimed primarily at small businesses and users who need an online presence without developing a website manually.

LEFTOR also builds custom websites, online stores, portals and applications and can integrate online-payment systems. Mobile development is handled through its ParticleApps activity, covering mobile applications, mobile websites and customized mobile projects. This broader development capability is useful for customers that need ongoing technical work rather than only server space.

Audio Streaming remains available as a specialized service, with configurations from 32 Kbps to 192+ Kbps. Packages include unlimited listeners, Auto DJ functionality, a web player and support for several playback formats. Internet radio and similar broadcasting projects therefore have an option that is not commonly available from ordinary shared-hosting providers.

Commercial SSL Certificates are also available in domain-validation, wildcard and extended-validation variants. Free Let's Encrypt SSL is already included with the main hosting packages and renews automatically, so most ordinary websites do not need to purchase a separate commercial certificate unless they have a specific validation or certificate-management requirement.

The company primarily operates in Bosnian. A complete English-language version of the main company website does not exist, although the client and ordering system has much broader localization. The company has been operating long enough that some older technical information remains mixed with newer product generations.
