LeapSwitch Networks is an Indian cloud infrastructure, web hosting and managed-services company with roots going back to 2006, when the business operated under the LaceHost name. The LeapSwitch brand was introduced in 2009, followed by incorporation in 2010 and the complete integration of LaceHost into LeapSwitch in November 2012. Founder and CEO Ishan Talathi has overseen its development from a conventional hosting provider into a broader infrastructure company serving customers in India, Europe and the United States.

The company expanded through several acquisitions. WhyNotaVPS joined LeapSwitch in April 2013, bringing additional US virtual-server customers and infrastructure, while UK hosting provider Stromonic was acquired in May 2023. LeapSwitch now has more than 20,000 customers across over 110 countries, more than 3,000 infrastructure nodes and a team within the 51–200 employee range.

CloudPe is especially useful for companies that require Indian data residency or low latency for domestic users.

Platform-as-a-Service hosting is available through CloudJiffy. Its environment automatically scales processor and memory resources in small increments and supports Kubernetes, WordPress clusters, Magento, Tomcat, Jitsi and other preconfigured application environments. Billing is based on actual resource usage rather than only on a fixed server configuration.

Business email uses SmarterMail and includes webmail, IMAP, POP, calendars, contacts, chat, shared workspaces, cloud connectors and backup. Domain services include registration, transfers, renewals, DNS management, domain locking and privacy options. SSL certificates are available in standard single-domain, wildcard and business-validation formats.

Backup and disaster-recovery services use Acronis technology and can protect physical servers, virtual machines, applications and user data.
