Kylos is a Polish hosting, server, and data-center company established in 2003 by Tomasz Kacprzak, Mariusz Nowosielski, and Damian Szewczyk, who were associated with the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering at the Łódź University of Technology. The business initially operated as a civil partnership before becoming Kylos sp. z o.o. on February 6, 2014.

The company began by using hosting infrastructure in Germany and the United States. In 2008, it opened its own server room in Łódź, Poland, gaining direct control over server hardware, networking, physical security, maintenance, and infrastructure operations. Kylos now serves close to 9,000 customers, including private users, online stores, development agencies, and small to medium-sized businesses.

Its service portfolio covers shared hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, KVM VPS, dedicated servers, managed server administration, domain registration, SSL certificates, website migration, backup services, and cloud consulting. Specialized configurations are also available for WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Drupal, online stores, blogs, FTP storage, private-cloud applications, and Subiekt business software.

Shared hosting is divided into Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Titanum packages. Storage allocations range from 50 GB to 300 GB, while databases, email accounts, and subdomains are unrestricted. Silver includes 2 TB of monthly transfer, while the larger packages include unmetered traffic.

The hosting platform combines Apache, SSD-backed database storage, SSH access, Git, HTTP/2, automatic SSL certificates, malware protection, a web application firewall, and an application installer. This creates a practical environment for conventional business websites, content-management systems, and e-commerce projects.

Daily backups are retained for up to 14 days. Gold, Platinum, and Titanum customers can restore available backups through the hosting interface. Silver customers normally request restoration through technical support, making the larger packages more convenient for customers who prefer direct control over recovery operations.

WordPress hosting uses NVMe storage and Redis caching and is suitable for both WordPress and WooCommerce websites. Security includes DDoS protection, malware scanning, brute-force protection, and a web application firewall. Automatic installation, free SSL, and hosting-panel access make the service suitable for customers who want a managed hosting environment without maintaining their own server.

The reseller hosting platform provides isolated customer accounts, separate DirectAdmin access, customizable branding, private DNS zones, SSD or NVMe storage, SSH, Git, email protection, and automatic SSL certificates. Web agencies can create individual hosting accounts for their customers while keeping the Kylos name out of the customer-facing interface.

A 14-day trial is available for reseller hosting, allowing agencies to test account creation, resource allocation, branding, and control-panel functions before purchasing a longer subscription.

VPS hosting uses KVM virtualization and NVMe SSD storage. Each server receives isolated resources, root access, and a choice of Linux or Windows Server. Four principal configurations cover workloads ranging from development environments and smaller online stores to more demanding applications and business systems.

The VPS platform is primarily self-managed, although customers can add DirectAdmin and professional server administration. RAID 10 storage provides redundancy at the host level, and resources can be increased as applications grow. Annual subscriptions effectively include two months without additional charge compared with monthly billing.

Dedicated servers are available with AMD and Intel processors. Standard configurations include 10 TB of transfer, two or three IP addresses, remote KVM access, continuous infrastructure monitoring, and redundant network connectivity.

DirectAdmin, cPanel, Windows Server licensing, external backup storage, and server administration are optional. Standard dedicated servers remain self-managed, and data recovery is not included unless a separate backup service has been ordered. Businesses running important databases, stores, or internal systems should therefore include external backups when configuring a server.

The managed-administration service covers server audits, infrastructure design, deployment, operating-system maintenance, security hardening, monitoring, updates, backups, and disaster recovery. Kylos administrators can manage servers located inside the Łódź facility as well as systems hosted in other data centers.

Managed-service packages can include continuous administrator availability, monitoring, and technical intervention. This provides a considerably broader support level than the standard assistance included with ordinary shared hosting or unmanaged servers.

Kylos is also an official partner of Amazon Web Services. Its cloud services include infrastructure assessment, migration, high-availability architecture, cost optimization, DevOps automation, backup planning, disaster recovery, employee workshops, and ongoing AWS administration. These projects are individually designed and quoted according to workload requirements.

Domain services include Polish, regional, and international extensions. Transfers of Polish national domains are free, and customers receive DNS management designed for high availability. Hosting customers also receive automatically renewed free SSL certificates.

Paid DV, OV, EV, and Wildcard certificates are available for customers that require formal organization validation, extended identity verification, or protection for multiple subdomains.

Free website migration is one of the strongest practical advantages. Kylos can transfer websites, email accounts, FTP data, and databases while minimizing service interruption. Customers may also receive up to six additional months of hosting according to the unused subscription period remaining with their previous provider.

The website is primarily available in Polish, and prices are displayed in PLN as both net and gross amounts. Some parts of the customer interface can be used in English, although the main website does not provide a complete English-language version.

The website remains usable on desktop and mobile devices, but several specialist sections retain older technical references, including XEN virtualization, previous operating-system versions, or historical Warsaw-based configurations. The current VPS and dedicated-server configurators use KVM virtualization and Łódź infrastructure, so current configurator specifications should take priority when placing an order.
