Kru.pl is a Polish hosting and domain provider headquartered in Kraków. The company behind the service, KRU.PL Sp. z o.o., was registered in 2012, originally operating under the EUROIX name, while the Kru.pl hosting brand was launched in 2019. The business was created by Niko Bałazy and Jakub Neumann, entrepreneurs with previous experience in the Polish telecommunications market. Since 2021, Kru.pl has been part of ITH (ith.eu), which became the owner of KRU.PL Sp. z o.o. and the related Hexerio business.

Domains are an important part of the service portfolio. Kru.pl is an accredited registrar for NASK, operator of the Polish .pl registry, and EURid for .eu domains. Customers can register and transfer domains, perform bulk registrations, manage DNS zones, use WHOIS-related functions and obtain AuthInfo/EPP codes directly through their account. This makes the platform suitable both for individual website owners and agencies managing larger domain portfolios.

The primary shared hosting product is Business Hosting, offered through several Cloud plans with NVMe SSD storage. Available packages range from smaller accounts suitable for basic websites to configurations with as much as 1 TB of storage, four CPU cores and 6 GB RAM. Data transfer is unlimited, while domains, subdomains, databases, email accounts and FTP accounts can also be created without fixed numerical limits, subject to the resources of the selected package.

Business Hosting includes free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, backups retained for up to 14 days, PHP, phpMyAdmin, Roundcube webmail, .htaccess support and modern HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 connectivity. The smaller packages are suitable for simple websites and email use, while the larger plans provide considerably more storage and computing capacity for demanding business sites.

A 14-day free hosting trial makes it possible to test the service before committing to a paid hosting period.

WordPress Hosting uses the same general cloud platform but includes an environment optimized for WordPress. Packages provide approximately 50 GB, 100 GB or 300 GB of storage, unlimited WordPress installations and unlimited transfer. LiteSpeed, LSCache, HTTP/3 and Redis are available to improve website responsiveness and caching performance. SSL certificates, email services, databases, backups and monitoring are included as part of the hosting environment.

Kru.pl also maintains a Free WordPress Hosting package built around 1 GB of storage and 1 GB of transfer, together with one WordPress installation, one database, one email account and one FTP account. A free *.freekru.pl subdomain and Let's Encrypt SSL are included. This package is currently sold out, so the paid WordPress plans remain the practical choice for new customers.

The server range is divided into Root VPS and Managed VPS.

Root VPS is intended for customers comfortable administering their own operating system. Standard configurations range from 1 vCore and 2 GB RAM up to 8 vCores and 16 GB RAM, with NVMe SSD capacities reaching 200 GB. The virtual servers use AMD EPYC processors and include 1 Gbps connectivity without a fixed transfer allowance.

Customers can deploy Linux distributions such as Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS, as well as Windows Server. Root access is available through SSH, while the customer panel supports server restart, shutdown, operating-system reinstallation and VNC console access for recovery situations. Security updates, application maintenance and general server administration remain the customer's responsibility on this service.

Managed VPS uses similar resource configurations but adds complete system administration. These servers include a dedicated IPv4 address, NVMe storage, 1 Gbps connectivity, unlimited transfer, daily backups retained for seven days and 24/7/365 technical administration.

Management covers operating-system and software updates, service monitoring, backup and restore work, server optimization, firewall configuration, email administration and FTP management. Two hours of administrator work are included each month. Managed VPS carries a 99.9% SLA, making it the more appropriate choice for customers who want a professionally administered server rather than maintaining Linux or Windows themselves.

Kru.pl also provides SSL Certificates, DNS Hosting, website monitoring, hosting migrations, domain reseller services and an affiliate program.

DNS Hosting is particularly useful because up to ten DNS zones can be maintained free of charge even without purchasing another hosting service. Domains registered through Kru.pl also include DNS service. The ns1.kru.pl and ns2.kru.pl name servers operate from physically separate locations, improving resilience against a localized failure.

The paid website-monitoring platform can check HTTP and HTTPS availability, ping responses, ports, keywords and SSL certificates. Monitoring frequency can be as short as one minute, while historical monitoring information can be retained for up to 12 months.

Kru.pl also assists customers migrating websites from another host. Migrations can cover website files, databases, email accounts and preparation for domain transfers, which can substantially reduce the work involved when moving a complete hosting account.

The commercial platform is primarily available in Polish, and hosting and domain pricing is offered in PLN. No complete multi-language/localized storefront exists.
