📄 Editorial Review

KeksHost is a Romanian web hosting and game-server provider operated by KEKSHOST SRL, a Bucharest company incorporated on March 20, 2017. Gaming has been central to the business since its early years, particularly Minecraft hosting, but the service range has expanded considerably and now covers Shared Web Hosting, Domain Registration, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, VDS, Dedicated Servers and Game Server Hosting. The company operates under Romanian CUI 37239733, with activity centered on data processing, web administration and related hosting services.

The hosting catalog is broader than might be expected from a relatively small Romanian provider. Conventional website customers can choose NVMe-based shared hosting, while users requiring greater control can move to VPS, VDS or complete dedicated servers. Gaming remains one of the strongest areas, with separate services for Minecraft, BungeeCord, Counter-Strike 2, Counter-Strike 1.6, CS:GO, GTA SA:MP, GTA MTA, Minecraft Bedrock, Rust and ARK: Survival Evolved. Anti-DDoS protection is included across much of the range, while several game plans also include backups, databases and free game-oriented DNS names.

Shared Web Hosting starts with WebHost 1 at €1.59 per month and includes 10 GB NVMe storage, unlimited traffic, unlimited MySQL databases, unlimited email accounts, unlimited subdomains, a dedicated /64 IPv6 allocation and one parked domain. Larger packages increase storage to 35 GB, 70 GB or unlimited NVMe space. The environment uses cPanel, Softaculous, MySQL/MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, Apache and multiple PHP versions through PHP 8.4. Current shared-hosting systems use Intel Core i9-12900K processors, 64 GB DDR4 memory, 1.92 TB NVMe storage in RAID 1 and 1 Gbit/s connectivity. Daily account backups are maintained, although independent customer backups remain advisable because backup integrity is not contractually guaranteed.

The VPS range begins at €9.60 per month with 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 2 vCPU cores, 60 GB NVMe storage, a 500 Mbit/s port with unlimited traffic, dedicated IPv4, a /48 IPv6 allocation, rDNS and nested virtualization. Host systems use Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 9 5950X-class processors. Larger VPS packages increase capacity to 8 GB RAM with 120 GB NVMe and 16 GB RAM with 240 GB NVMe. Supported Linux distributions include Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and CentOS.

Windows VPS uses the same general virtualization platform but includes VNC and Remote Desktop access. Windows Server 2022 and 2025 can be installed with a 180-day evaluation license, while Linux remains available as an alternative. These plans are suitable for Windows-specific applications, remote desktop use and game-server workloads such as FiveM without requiring a complete physical server.

The VDS range provides dedicated virtual CPU resources rather than conventional shared-vCPU virtualization. VDS 1 starts at €11.90 per month with 4 GB RAM, two dedicated vCores and 100 GB NVMe storage. VDS 2 increases capacity to 8 GB and 200 GB NVMe, while VDS 3 provides 16 GB and 400 GB. All three include 500 Mbit/s connectivity, unlimited traffic, dedicated IPv4, /48 IPv6 allocation, nested virtualization and 3.2 Tbps Anti-DDoS protection. Automatic backups are also included with the current VDS packages.

For customers requiring a complete physical system, Dedicated Servers are available from Germany with full root access, Anti-DDoS protection, unlimited traffic and operating-system reinstallation. The entry configuration starts at €47.99 per month with an Intel Core i7-7700, 64 GB RAM, dual 512 GB SSD storage or larger HDD alternatives and a 1 Gbit/s port. More powerful options include Xeon, newer Intel Core i7/i9 and AMD Ryzen platforms, extending to Ryzen 9 5950X configurations with 128 GB RAM and dual 3.84 TB NVMe drives.

Game hosting is one of the most developed parts of KeksHost. Minecraft Hosting starts at €2.99 per month, with larger plans adding substantially more RAM, NVMe storage and backup capacity. Current Minecraft packages use Pterodactyl+, include Anti-DDoS protection and provide a free address under server-mc.ro. Counter-Strike 1.6 starts around €2.80 per month and CS2 around €6.50, with FastDL, database access, FTP, Anti-DDoS and Pterodactyl+. ARK: Survival Evolved starts at €12.50 for 8 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe and scales to larger configurations with 16 GB RAM and 100 GB storage. Minecraft Bedrock, SA:MP, MTA, Rust and BungeeCord complete a fairly comprehensive game-hosting selection.

The main commercial interface is available in Romanian and English. The account and billing environment supports a much wider range of interface languages, including Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Prices are shown in EUR, while invoices are calculated in Romanian lei using the National Bank of Romania exchange rate plus 2%. KEKSHOST SRL is not registered as a VAT payer, so the listed amounts are final rather than net prices awaiting additional Romanian VAT.

The website has a modern responsive layout and works properly on current desktop and mobile screen sizes. Some older prices, hardware references and service details remain mixed with newer information, so customers should pay particular attention to the final configuration and checkout value before ordering.
