Kei.pl was one of Poland’s longest-running web hosting providers. The company began operating in 2000 in Kraków under the original business name Krakowskie e-Centrum Informatyczne JUMP. It was founded by Rafał Dziedzic, Marcin Pasek and Małgorzata Przybyła, whose surnames later appeared in the legal name Kei.pl Dziedzic Pasek Przybyła.

Kei.pl developed into a substantial Polish hosting business with thousands of customers and a large portfolio of managed domains. Around the time of its acquisition, the company served approximately 14,000 customers, managed more than 18,000 domains and generated annual revenue exceeding PLN 8 million. Later operating figures referred to more than 10,500 active hosting customers.

H88, part of the R22 group, acquired 100% of Kei.pl on May 22, 2018. The transaction was valued at approximately PLN 22 million. Kei.pl continued operating as a recognizable hosting brand for several years, while its technical and commercial activities gradually became integrated into the larger group.

The standalone Kei.pl brand was retired on March 28–29, 2025. The kei.pl domain began redirecting on March 28, and customer accounts and services became available through cyber_Folks on March 29. Websites, email accounts and server configurations continued operating, but Kei.pl ceased to exist as an independent hosting provider.

During its active years, Kei.pl offered Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, e-commerce hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS, Cloud VPS, Managed VPS, Dedicated Servers, Managed Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration and SSL Certificates.

Shared hosting operated on Linux servers with PHP, MySQL databases, HTTP/2, SSD storage, email hosting, FTP access, subdomains, website statistics and SSL support. Larger packages provided generous or unlimited numbers of email accounts, databases, FTP users and hosted websites.

One of the strongest hosting features was the backup system. Shared hosting customers could use daily and weekly backup copies covering as much as 28 days. The usual retention structure included four recent daily copies and four weekly copies, while some application-focused products used more frequent database backups.

Reseller hosting was suitable for web agencies, developers and companies managing websites for their own customers. Resources could be divided between separate hosting accounts, allowing resellers to manage domains, email services, databases and customer websites from the Webas platform.

The VPS range included both self-managed and managed environments. Basic VPS and Cloud VPS used SSD storage, while Cloud VPS configurations also included SAN storage and fast internal connectivity reaching up to 10 Gbit. Scheduled resource scaling allowed processing power and memory to be increased during predictable periods of heavier traffic. MySQL and PostgreSQL database environments were also available.

Dedicated servers were based on Intel processors and combined SSD or HDD storage depending on the selected configuration. They were suitable for business websites, online stores, Magento platforms, CRM systems, email servers and reseller hosting. Customers could choose an unmanaged server with administrative access or a managed configuration maintained by the technical team.

Kei.pl mainly served customers in Poland. Its website, support services and administration interfaces operated in Polish, while prices were listed in Polish zloty. Price lists generally included net and gross amounts, with Poland’s 23% VAT applied to taxable services.
