KartHost is a Texas-based hosting, email and online business services company founded by Roy and Gail Randolph in June 2000. The business began in the kart-racing community, where the Randolphs maintained websites for racing clubs and tracks before consolidating those projects onto a leased Cobalt server through EV1, formerly Everyone's Internet. The company initially operated as The Kart Company and adopted the KartHost.com name in 2004.

KartHost LLC has since developed into a specialized provider focused primarily on WordPress Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, website-building packages, domain registration, business email, Hosted Exchange, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, email archiving and email security. The company is headquartered in Tomball, Texas and operates as a woman-owned business. The restaurant platform includes online ordering, delivery and pickup management, scheduled ordering, tipping, table ordering and customer notifications. These services move well beyond basic hosting and are aimed at businesses that want a functional website environment without assembling all components separately.

For customers requiring continuous website assistance, the VIP WordPress Care Plan provides security scans, malware cleanup, WordPress maintenance and ongoing support for smaller website tasks. The service costs $156.75 per month per site for websites hosted with KartHost and $186.75 per month for externally hosted websites. Support tasks that can normally be completed within 30 minutes are included, with an eight-hour target for completion.

Email is one of KartHost's strongest service areas. KloudEmail Basic starts at $4.05 per month for the first mailbox and $3.45 for each additional mailbox. KloudEmail Suite, using Rackspace email infrastructure, starts at $5.15 for the first mailbox and $4.60 for additional accounts. It includes a 25 GB mailbox, 30 GB of online file storage, synchronization features and online productivity applications.

KartHost also continues to offer Hosted Exchange through AppRiver/Zix. Plans range from a 2 GB Exchange Lite mailbox starting at $4.55 per month to Full Exchange with unlimited mailbox storage at $15.55 per month. Annual billing reduces the effective monthly cost, and customers can choose between U.S. and Swiss hosting locations for Hosted Exchange.

The Microsoft range includes Microsoft 365 Exchange Email, Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium and Microsoft 365 Apps. Exchange Online Plan 1 begins at $9.99 per user per month with an annual commitment. Depending on the selected plan, Microsoft 365 can include Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and desktop or browser-based Office applications.

Google Workspace is available as another complete business productivity option. Business Starter begins at $7.85 per month with annual billing or $8.95 with monthly billing. Higher plans provide greater storage capacity, conferencing functionality, administrative controls and additional security features.

Additional services include Domain Registration and Transfers, Email Encryption, Email Archiving and Information Archiving. Zix-powered email encryption can automatically detect sensitive information and apply encryption, while archiving services are intended for companies that need longer-term retention, compliance or searchable historical communications.
