Ivacy VPN is a long-running VPN provider founded in 2007 in Singapore. Over the years it developed a consumer privacy service centered on encrypted internet access, IP-location switching, streaming, P2P traffic and secure connections over public Wi-Fi. An important part of its history came in 2010, when Ivacy introduced Split Tunneling, giving users the ability to route selected applications through the VPN while allowing other traffic to use the normal internet connection.Ivacy is now closely integrated with PureVPN under the Ivacy Powered by PureVPN transition. Existing Ivacy accounts, subscriptions and supported add-ons continue to function, while new standalone Ivacy consumer subscriptions are no longer offered. For new VPN purchases, customers are directed toward PureVPN instead.
Existing Ivacy users still have access to a broad feature set that includes 256-bit encryption, Split Tunneling, kill switch protection, secure DNS, IPv6 leak protection, P2P support, dedicated IP options, Port Forwarding and protection on unsecured public Wi-Fi networks.
