ITN.tw is a Taiwanese domain-registration, web-hosting and managed-infrastructure provider operated by 鼎嘉數位有限公司, also known in English as DC Consulting. The company was established in 2015, while its domain-registration activity dates back to 2013, when the earlier 中華國際雲創部 organization began working as a TWNIC-authorized registrar. Its main business operations are based in Taichung, with additional infrastructure in New Taipei City.

The company covers far more than standard shared hosting. Its service range includes domain registration and transfers, local-presence trustee services, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, reseller hosting, dedicated-IP hosting, Taiwan VPS, Windows cloud servers, Proxmox servers, dedicated servers, colocation, CloudStack private clouds, managed public and hybrid clouds, ownCloud and Nextcloud storage, Synology services, business email, SSL certificates, vulnerability scanning and managed IT services. AI assistants, customer-service chatbots, domain-brand research and related digital services are also available.

Domain registration remains one of the company’s central activities. More than 350 country-code and generic domain extensions are supported, including direct registration of Taiwanese domains through TWNIC systems. Trustee services are available for customers who need a local contact or presence when registering selected European, Japanese and Saudi Arabian domains. Japanese and European trustee arrangements are relatively straightforward, while Saudi domain applications may require trademark documentation and several weeks of processing.

The current entry-level shared-hosting range is hosted in Hong Kong and combines cPanel with SSD storage, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, CageFS and Imunify360. The 1 GB commercial account supports multiple websites and databases within a 20,000-inode limit. Development support is extensive for a small shared account, including PHP 5.2 through PHP 8.4, Node.js 6 through 20, Python 2.7 through 3.13, Ruby 1.8 through 3.2, MySQL or MariaDB, Redis, Memcached, Git, phpMyAdmin and Softaculous.

A reduced-price version is available to students, teachers, healthcare workers and nonprofit organizations. This makes the entry-level hosting useful for small educational projects, charitable organizations, testing environments and lightweight commercial websites.

A separate shared-hosting range is available for customers requiring more storage. These packages use CentOS and Virtualmin, with capacities from 10 GB to 60 GB and annual data-transfer allowances from 500 GB to 3 TB. Free automatically renewed SSL certificates are included. The larger accounts are suitable for small businesses, web designers and agencies maintaining several websites under one service.

WordPress customers can receive installation assistance, migration support and access to commercial Astra-related modules. The service includes automatic updates, free migration and daily backups retained for as long as 180 days. Backup data is distributed between storage infrastructure in Taipei and Taichung and written across multiple disks and storage systems. Customers purchasing WordPress hosting should confirm the exact backup retention and restoration conditions attached to their selected package.

Reseller hosting is also available, although the configurations closely resemble the larger Virtualmin shared-hosting packages. Details such as private nameservers, white-label operation and separate customer-account limits are not clearly standardized. Agencies intending to resell hosting should agree on the exact account structure before ordering.

The Taiwan VPS range operates through CCNET infrastructure. Entry plans include two processor cores, 2 GB RAM, 100 GB storage and 10 TB of transfer, while larger configurations reach eight cores, 8 GB RAM, 300 GB storage and 30 TB of transfer. These VPS products cost more than many international budget services, but they are intended for customers who specifically require Taiwanese infrastructure, domestic connectivity and local technical assistance.

Dedicated infrastructure is divided between a newer Proxmox VE server range in New Taipei City and a traditional dedicated-server range in Taichung. The Proxmox systems use dual Intel Xeon E5-2660 processors, 128 GB or 256 GB RAM, SSD storage, one HiNet IPv4 address and 300 Mbps symmetric domestic connectivity.

Traditional dedicated-server configurations include RAID 1 SSD storage, memory allocations reaching 256 GB, several IP addresses and dedicated bandwidth choices ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps. These systems are better suited to customized applications, virtualization platforms, business databases and workloads requiring predictable Taiwanese bandwidth.

Windows cloud servers are available in New Taipei City and Taichung. Packages include eight virtual processor cores, 8 GB or 16 GB RAM, RAID 10 storage from 500 GB to 4 TB, one fixed IP address and a shared 100 Mbps connection. The emphasis is on storage-heavy Windows applications rather than inexpensive entry-level Windows VPS hosting.

The company’s most advanced infrastructure service is its managed Apache CloudStack private cloud. A standard deployment consists of four compute nodes, dedicated switching and firewall equipment, two mirrored DRBD storage servers, a separate Xen management and Nagios monitoring server, 10 Gbps internal networking and 100 Mbps Taiwanese bandwidth.

Private-cloud configurations are available with 512 GB or 1 TB of aggregate memory and approximately 12 TB of usable storage. ITN.tw has worked with CloudStack since 2014 and supports Xen, KVM, high availability, live migration, snapshots and controlled resource overcommitment.

Managed-cloud services cover public, private and hybrid environments. The work can include virtual-machine deployment, performance optimization, log monitoring, firewall configuration, load balancing, ModSecurity web-application firewall management, backup and recovery, database balancing, DNS failover, DDoS migration and penetration testing. Nagios monitoring locations include New Taipei City, Taichung, Tokyo, Singapore, Silicon Valley and New Jersey.

Cloud-storage services use ownCloud and Nextcloud installations in Taichung, with capacities from 1 TB to 5 TB. Customers receive administrative access and can allocate storage among their own users. A separate Synology service provides 50 GB of shared Drive storage together with Notes and VPN traffic.

An emergency data-restoration service can place customer data on physical storage media and deliver it to an address in Taiwan. The service can also include two hours of local engineering assistance, which is useful when restoring large datasets through an internet connection would take too long.

Business email starts with 1 GB per user and supports POP, IMAP, SMTP, webmail and common desktop or mobile email clients. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts are also available. Shared email services are protected by anti-spam rules, and accounts may be suspended when abusive sending damages the reputation of the mail server’s IP addresses.

SSL services include free automatically renewed certificates with hosting, commercial single-domain certificates, vulnerability scanning and OpenVAS-based security assessments. Additional services cover AI assistants integrated with Telegram, dedicated machines for AI agents, restaurant reservation chatbots, domain-brand research and social-username research.

The storefront accepts NTD and USD. The interface offers more than 20 language choices, including English, Chinese, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, Russian, Turkish and Ukrainian. Localization is incomplete because substantial portions of the service information remain in Traditional Chinese, and some English sections retain untranslated content.

The client area is functional, but the service catalog mixes newer packages with older configurations. Some similar products appear more than once, while summary prices and final order prices are not always identical. Hardware, server location, operating system, bandwidth allocation and billing cycle should therefore be confirmed before payment.
