Istihost is an Azerbaijani hosting provider based in Baku and operating since 2004, giving the company more than two decades of experience in the local hosting market. The service is operated by SM Fusion MMC and is strongly oriented toward Azerbaijani customers, with pricing in Azerbaijani manat (AZN), local-language assistance and hosting products suitable for individuals, small businesses and corporate websites.

The current portfolio includes Web Hosting, VPS, Professional Email, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates and Website/Email Migration. The range is relatively focused, covering the services normally required to establish and operate a website without adding a large catalog of unrelated cloud products.

Shared Web Hosting uses cPanel and currently starts with the Başlanğıc package at 100 AZN per year. Four hosting levels are available, providing between 512 MB and 5 GB of storage and between 10 GB and 100 GB of monthly traffic. The smallest package has no database support and therefore fits basic static sites better, while the Orta, Plus and Pro packages accommodate databases and additional domains.

Hosting accounts include a mailbox, email alias, SSL, migration assistance, regular backups and cPanel management. CageFS account isolation and CloudLinux resource controls help separate individual hosting accounts, while SPF, DKIM and DMARC can be configured to improve email authentication and delivery.

Storage allowances are conservative compared with many large international hosting companies. The largest shared package provides 5 GB, so websites containing extensive media libraries, large WordPress installations or rapidly growing e-commerce catalogs may eventually benefit from moving to VPS. Monthly traffic is also limited according to the package rather than being completely unrestricted.

VPS Hosting provides dedicated virtual resources, root-level access and a choice between self-managed and managed administration. The current European VPS range includes six configurations with 4 to 18 CPU cores, fair-use unlimited traffic and prices starting from 13.7 AZN per month. These servers are better suited to high-traffic websites, agencies managing several projects, custom applications and users needing more flexibility than a standard shared account can provide.

cPanel/WHM can be added when a graphical hosting environment is preferred, while experienced administrators can manage VPS servers directly through SSH. This makes the VPS range useful both for traditional web hosting and custom Linux server deployments.

The Professional Email platform is separate from the basic mailbox included with hosting and uses flexible pricing based on mailbox count and storage. The standard calculation is approximately 1 AZN per GB, per mailbox, per month. A configuration with three mailboxes and 3 GB for each mailbox therefore costs around 108 AZN per year.

Email storage can be divided between users according to individual needs, and each mailbox can have multiple aliases. Features include secure webmail, IMAP, SMTP and POP3 connectivity, CalDAV/CardDAV synchronization, forwarding, catch-all addresses, automatic replies, scheduled messages and TOTP-based two-factor authentication. An Azerbaijani-language AI writing assistant is also integrated into the email environment.

Domain registration covers .az, .com, .net and other extensions, together with incoming domain transfers. Pricing varies according to the TLD and registration period. Some .az registrations for legal entities can require additional documentation.

SSL is handled through free Let's Encrypt SSL on hosting accounts, with certificates renewing automatically. Paid OV, EV and wildcard certificates are also available for businesses needing organization validation or protection across several subdomains. OV and EV certificates involve company verification and can therefore require additional processing time.

Website and email migration is another practical service. Existing websites, databases, mailboxes, DNS records and SSL configurations can be transferred to Istihost. Standard migrations for smaller websites are normally included without a separate migration fee. Files can be copied and tested before DNS is changed, reducing unnecessary interruption during the transition. Small projects can generally be migrated within one or two days, while larger e-commerce or email-heavy environments can require approximately three to five days.

Istihost remains heavily localized for Azerbaijan. Prices are offered in AZN, support is focused on Azerbaijani-speaking customers, and no full English-language website version exists. This makes the company particularly convenient for domestic users while creating a language barrier for international customers.
