ISOMEDIA is a long-established Washington Internet infrastructure and hosting company with roots going back to 1991 in Redmond. The business began with data-processing and CD-recording services, moved into Internet access in 1994, and subsequently developed into a regional ISP serving residential and business customers. Steve Milton was a co-founder and programmer from 1991 and later served as CEO and CTO. ISOMEDIA is now part of the broader IsoFusion, Inc. organization, with ISOMEDIA, Inc. and ISOMEDIA.COM, LLC operating under the same corporate umbrella.

The company's development included both internal expansion and acquisitions. In March 2003, ISOMEDIA.COM, LLC acquired the Connect Northwest/CNW business assets from CyPost Corporation for $170,184.13. The transaction included approximately 2,040 dial-up, hosting, email and frame-relay customer accounts, along with the CNW.COM and CNW.NET domains and the Connect Northwest trademark. In October 2014, ISOMEDIA and Optic Fusion began operating under the broader IsoFusion identity through a joint marketing agreement that combined Internet, colocation and IT service portfolios.

The portfolio extends well beyond conventional web hosting. Business customers can use shared web hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, server colocation, Internet connectivity, dedicated wireless, business VoIP, Hosted Exchange and off-site backup. Residential and personal services include inexpensive shared hosting and other Internet-related services. This combination makes ISOMEDIA more comparable to a regional ISP and datacenter operator with hosting capabilities than to a hosting-only provider.

Shared Hosting is available for personal users and small businesses. Personal Hosting uses shared Linux infrastructure and includes a free .com, .net or .org domain, unlimited disk allocation, bandwidth, email accounts and MySQL databases, together with QuickBuild applications and SiteBuilder. Small Business Hosting follows a similar model while adding business-oriented features, optional Windows hosting, static IP addresses and support for additional hosted sites. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, phpBB, osCommerce and other applications can be installed through QuickBuild. Plesk is used as the principal hosting control panel.

Domain Registration is available separately for common extensions. Domain parking, forwarding, locking and unlocking, setup and technical support are included, while private registration is offered as an additional service. Tucows (tucows.com) operates as the underlying registrar, with ISOMEDIA acting as the reseller.

The VPS range is built around the MasterCloud platform. The entry plan includes 1 GB RAM, one CPU core, 25 GB storage and 1,000 GB transfer, while larger configurations add more RAM and processing resources. Linux choices include CentOS, Debian and Ubuntu, with MySQL and PostgreSQL support, full root access and Proxmox Panel for virtual machine administration. Windows Server virtual machines are also available as an option. Managed VPS assistance can be added for customers who prefer ISOMEDIA to handle more of the administrative work.

Dedicated Servers use Dell hardware and include root access together with a basic management package covering hardware monitoring, service monitoring, operating-system reinstallations and limited administrative assistance. Plesk licensing can be added for customers who want a graphical hosting administration environment. Some configurations still reference older Dell PowerEdge hardware generations and older Windows Server editions, so exact server hardware, operating-system versions and licensing should be confirmed before ordering.

Colocation is one of the stronger parts of the portfolio. ISOMEDIA operates infrastructure in Seattle, Redmond and Bellevue, Washington, with options ranging from partial cabinets to multiple racks, private cages and custom deployments. Facilities include controlled access, redundant network connections, UPS protection, generators, HVAC and fire-suppression systems. Customers can also add managed monitoring and remote or on-site administration, including around-the-clock response for critical monitored services.

Connectivity services complement the datacenter business. Metro Optical Ethernet supports speeds from 5 Mbps to 1 Gbps, while dedicated access options include T1, bonded T1, DS3 and private-network configurations. ISOMEDIA also operates point-to-point wireless connectivity capable of reaching up to 1 Gbps where suitable line-of-sight conditions exist.

TrueRing Business Voice adds VoIP functionality including voicemail-to-email, virtual faxing, auto attendants, hunt groups, E911 and browser-based administration. Hosted Exchange includes mailbox hosting, ActiveSync, web access, spam and virus filtering, optional archiving and managed back-end administration. The Exchange service still references Exchange 2016, so organizations with specific Microsoft lifecycle requirements should confirm the currently deployed platform.

Data Backup is available through network-attached off-site storage and a more advanced continuous-data-protection style service with multiple restore points and bare-metal restoration capabilities.

The company website is in English and prices are quoted in US dollars. The presentation has a distinctly legacy appearance compared with newer automated cloud-hosting storefronts, and several generations of product information coexist. Current VPS information uses Proxmox, while older sections reference Plesk 11 and earlier VPS branding; dedicated-server information includes older Windows Server releases, while Hosted Exchange still references Exchange 2016. The underlying range of services remains extensive, but customers should confirm current software versions, server specifications, inventory and contractual pricing before making a long-term commitment.
