IP ServerOne is no longer a simple entry-level hosting shop. It started in 2003, founded by Lee Cheung Loong, and has grown from a small Malaysian web-hosting operation into a much broader managed cloud, data center, storage, network, backup, and infrastructure provider. Their current positioning is much closer to a regional cloud and colocation specialist than to a traditional shared-hosting brand. The company states 22 years of experience, 20+ accreditations and compliance recognitions, 6 regional points of presence, around 7,000 managed physical servers, and more than 8,000 customers.

The product catalog is wide and business-oriented. Their flagship public cloud is NovaCloud, an OpenStack-based platform with general-purpose and RAM-optimized instances, flexible scaling, transparent usage billing, snapshot backups, floating IPs, firewall/security-group controls, and deployment regions in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong, with Malaysian availability also extending into Sarawak. For heavier or more regulated workloads, they also offer Managed Private Cloud Hosting built around ProxmoxVE, VMware vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V, plus the older vCloud VMware-based private/public cloud environment for organizations that still prefer that stack.

Beyond cloud VMs, they also provide Bare Metal Servers, GPU servers, and NovaGPU for AI and machine-learning workloads. The GPU side is unusually serious for a hosting provider, with hourly and monthly options around modern NVIDIA hardware such as RTX 4090, RTX 5090, RTX 6000 Ada, and H200 NVL. Storage services include Object Storage with S3 compatibility and erasure coding, plus NovaVault, their cloud NAS offering. They also cover Load Balancer as a Service, DDoS protection, Cloud Connect for private links into AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, domain registration, DNS hosting, SSL certificates, and a full LinkMail email portfolio.

The email side is more developed than a simple mailbox add-on. LinkMail includes SmarterMail S1, SmarterMail multi-tenant, SmarterMail dedicated, and cPanel dedicated email plans. They also sell anti-spam services and compare SmarterMail against cPanel directly, which shows they are comfortable serving both Windows-style collaboration workloads and more familiar Linux-based mail environments. Data-protection services are also part of the portfolio, including Cloud Backup, Backup for Microsoft 365, Backup & Disaster Recovery, and Acorn Recovery as a Service, their managed DRaaS line.

One important practical observation is that this is not a mainstream consumer shared-hosting provider anymore, even though the company historically came from that market. The active public site is centered on cloud hosting, private cloud, data center, storage, backup, AI infrastructure, networking, and managed services. For buyers looking for cheap cPanel web space, the company feels overbuilt. For businesses that need Malaysian or regional infrastructure, compliance, direct engineering support, colocation, or hybrid-cloud design, they look much more convincing.
