IPHOTEL is a Brazilian web hosting and cloud infrastructure provider founded in 2001 by Luiz Gustavo Villamarim Morgado. The operating company, IP Hotel - Hospedagem de Sites Ltda., was formally registered on August 10, 2005, and is headquartered in São Paulo. Its business is primarily focused on Brazilian companies, developers and agencies that want locally hosted websites, applications, databases and email services.

The portfolio includes Windows hosting, Linux hosting, managed WordPress, cloud servers, corporate email, domain registration, DNS management, SSL certificates, backups and migration assistance. This combination makes IPHOTEL suitable for customers that prefer to keep several essential online services with one Brazilian provider rather than dividing them among unrelated companies.

Shared hosting is available for both Windows and Linux projects. Packages provide between 5 GB and 30 GB of SSD storage, 25 to 200 email accounts, 100 GB to 800 GB of email capacity and 1 TB to 10 TB of monthly data transfer. Windows accounts support ASP.NET 4.8, Classic ASP and High Trust applications, while Linux plans include PHP and MariaDB support.

The hosting packages include SSD storage, FTP access, DNS administration, phpMyAdmin, email services, anti-spam filtering, SSL support, firewall protection and daily backups. Website and database backups are retained for seven days. Customers should still maintain their own external backups, particularly for frequently updated websites or business-critical databases.

IPHOTEL uses clearly defined storage, traffic and mailbox allocations rather than relying on vague unlimited-resource offers. This provides a more realistic understanding of what each package can handle. Accounts can be upgraded or downgraded as requirements change, and additional domains can be connected through the customer control panel.

WordPress Cloud includes SSD hosting, PowerCache, ImunifyAV, WordPress Toolkit, automated security updates, plugin and theme administration, staging functionality, SEO tools, HTTP/2, SSL and backup restoration. The range covers individual WordPress websites as well as larger agency environments.

Agency packages support between 15 and 100 WordPress installations and use dedicated cloud resources. Depending on the plan, customers receive from 2 vCPU and 2 GB RAM to 8 vCPU and 16 GB RAM, together with as much as 250 GB of SSD storage and 2 TB of data transfer. This structure is practical for web agencies that manage multiple customer websites and need centralized WordPress administration.

Cloud Computing provides virtual servers physically hosted in Brazil and assigned Brazilian IP addresses. Standard configurations use SSD storage and include root or administrator access, basic anti-DDoS protection, at least one recoverable backup version and scalable processor, memory and storage resources. Customized configurations are also available for applications that do not fit the standard packages.

Both Linux and Windows cloud servers are supported. Windows Server licensing and optional control-panel licensing may add to the monthly cost. Customers comfortable with server administration can work directly through root or administrator access, while Plesk can be added for graphical management of websites, applications, databases and security settings.

Corporate Email operates separately from website and database workloads. This separation reduces the possibility that a resource-intensive website will affect email performance. The platform supports SMTP, SMTPS, POP3, POP3S, IMAP and IMAPS, together with Roundcube webmail.

Email features include forwarding, unlimited aliases, distribution groups, catch-all addresses and automatic replies. Protection is based on SPF and DKIM validation, blacklist checks, antivirus scanning and several layers of content-based spam filtering.

Standard corporate email packages can accommodate as many as 1,000 mailboxes and 2 TB of storage. Larger companies can request a dedicated email environment with customized capacity. Existing mailboxes can be transferred from another provider through IMAP migration.

Each mailbox is limited to 100 outgoing messages per hour and 1,000 recipients per day. The service is therefore appropriate for ordinary corporate communication and transactional messages, but not for newsletters, unsolicited campaigns or large-scale email marketing.

Domain Registration is handled through IPHOTEL Domínios. The service supports international extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .name and .us, as well as transfers from other registrars. DNS hosting is included, and customers can manage nameservers, registration contacts, renewals and multiple domains through IPCONTROL Domínios.

The website and customer documentation are available in Portuguese, with prices displayed in Brazilian reais. No multi-language or fully localized English version exists. The primary hosting website has a reasonably modern structure, although the domain portal and sections of the knowledge base use an older visual design. Some support articles also retain references to legacy software and older technical practices.
