InterRacks is a privately owned Dutch Internet service provider established on May 20, 2005, by founder and owner Roland Kamphuis. Headquartered in Enschede, the company began with colocation and Internet-access services before adding routing and connectivity solutions in 2006. Its physical infrastructure activities expanded considerably through InterDC in 2011, creating a closely integrated portfolio of network, datacenter, and business-connectivity services.

The operating company is InterRacks B.V., registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 88129268. The business changed its legal form from a limited partnership to a private limited company in November 2022. Information-security certification is maintained through i2 Group B.V. and covers the group’s datacenter and hosting operations.

InterRacks is primarily an infrastructure and connectivity provider rather than a conventional mass-market web host. Its main services include colocation, rackspace, business Internet access, IP transit, private data connections, cross-connects, IPv4 and IPv6 resources, and customized network solutions. Shared hosting, instant VPS packages, website builders, and standardized dedicated-server rentals are not central to the current portfolio.

Rackspace is available as full, half, and quarter-rack configurations. A full rack includes 47U of usable space, 100 Mbps of 95th-percentile traffic, 12 amps of power, two 1 Gbps uplinks, 32 IPv4 addresses, a /64 IPv6 allocation, four access cards, and two independent power feeds with power distribution bars. The half-rack option includes 22U, 50 Mbps of 95th-percentile traffic, 6 amps, two 1 Gbps uplinks, 16 IPv4 addresses, and redundant power feeds. Quarter racks provide 10U, 10 Mbps of 95th-percentile traffic, 3 amps, a 1 Gbps uplink, eight IPv4 addresses, and a /64 IPv6 allocation. Quarter-rack compartments can be secured individually or placed within a shared rack arrangement.

Rack customers receive reverse-DNS management, real-time traffic statistics, continuous access to their equipment, and access to an emergency telephone number. Larger environments can be built with multiple racks, secured cages, dedicated areas, or private suites.

Individual server colocation is available in 1U, 2U, 3U, and 4U formats. These packages include 10,000 GB of monthly data transfer, a 1 Gbps network connection, IPv4 and IPv6 resources, 0.5 amp of included power, and a 24-hour access card. Equipment must use a suitable 19-inch rackmount chassis.

Business-connectivity services include fiber Internet, BGP transit, point-to-point connections, Ethernet circuits, WDM links, managed Internet access, and IP-address allocations. The final configuration depends on the customer’s location, bandwidth requirements, routing preferences, redundancy expectations, and contract term.

The associated InterDC infrastructure adds private cages, private suites, remote-hands assistance, and Infrastructure as a Service. Customized IaaS environments can distribute virtual machines across several physical servers and datacenter locations. Multi-site configurations can support failover between facilities when this is included in the agreed architecture.

Remote-hands work includes physical server restarts, hardware inspection, tape replacement, cable changes, operating-system troubleshooting, and other agreed technical procedures. Assistance is available for both Windows and Linux systems, making the service practical for companies that cannot maintain their own personnel near Enschede, Hengelo, or Doetinchem.

The main company website is available in Dutch and English. The customer and ordering portal, legal documentation, datacenter policies, and several administrative sections remain mainly Dutch. Services are billed in EUR.
