*📜 Plan description
BM 4 – SSD is the flagship configuration delivering two 3rd-generation Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs (each 10C/20T), 512 GB ECC RAM and a robust 14 TB SSD ZFS RAID 5 for storage-heavy projects. The system includes a redundant 1 Gbit/s uplink, 1 TB monthly traffic, three IPv4 addresses, snapshots and full root privileges through ISAC. Pricing presupposes a 36-month term and a 99.90 EUR setup fee unless you opt for the Managed Service, which unlocks unmetered traffic and proactive monitoring.
All InterNetX bare metal servers reside in the company’s ISO 27001 Tier 3 data center in Munich (DE). Dell enterprise hardware, redundant A/B power feeds, cold-aisle containment and a direct DE-CIX link deliver low-latency performance and sustainable reliability. Full root access comes standard, while an optional Managed Service adds traffic flatrate, software-update automation, cold-standby node and extended monitoring. ISAC lets you create snapshots, reinstall AlmaLinux 8 or other distributions and manage reverse DNS through one browser panel. Multilingual engineers are on duty 24/7 and an emergency hotline is always available.

📄 Editorial Review
InterNetX is a German business-to-business provider of domain, DNS, encryption and hosting infrastructure. Founded in 1998 in Regensburg by Hakan Ali and Curd Bems, the company developed around a provider-for-providers model rather than conventional consumer hosting. Its customers include registrars, hosting companies, managed service providers, digital agencies, corporate domain departments and businesses managing large international domain portfolios.InterNetX has been part of IONOS Group SE since 2004. The company expanded its domain operations through the acquisition of PSI-USA in 2001, gaining ICANN accreditation and a stronger presence in the international registrar market. Its activities also include registry services for extensions such as
.srl and .ltda.The company manages millions of domains across the wider group infrastructure, works with more than 30,000 business partners and operates hosting environments containing thousands of servers. Its workforce falls within the 51–200 employee range, with specialist teams handling domain registration, DNS, certificates, server infrastructure, colocation and enterprise projects.
InterNetX is not designed around inexpensive shared hosting, beginner WordPress plans or drag-and-drop consumer website packages. Its core portfolio covers domain registration, domain reselling, DNS management, brand protection, SSL certificates, email encryption, cloud servers, bare metal servers, private reseller clouds, dedicated infrastructure, managed hosting, Kubernetes, colocation and custom high-availability projects.
The most important platform is AutoDNS, which brings domains, DNS zones, contacts, encryption products and reseller administration into one environment. It supports more than 1,050 domain extensions, including international generic domains, country-code extensions and newer specialized TLDs.
AutoDNS handles the complete domain lifecycle, including registration, transfer, renewal, restoration, contact changes and deletion. Bulk actions simplify the administration of large portfolios, while integrated availability searches cover ordinary registrations, premium names and aftermarket domains.
Domain Studio extends the search process with domain suggestions and access to secondary-market inventory. SedoMLS integration makes it possible to search for and purchase listed aftermarket names without leaving the main workflow.
The platform supports JSON, XML and EPP interfaces, allowing registrars and hosting providers to automate domain orders through their existing customer, billing and provisioning systems. Integrations are available for widely used platforms such as WHMCS, CloudBlue, WeFact and HostBill.
AutoDNS Standard includes the main domain, DNS and certificate-management functions. It is suitable for companies administering their own domains or beginning a reseller operation without a recurring platform subscription.
AutoDNS Pro adds white-label capabilities for professional resellers. Companies can use their own branding, encrypted login address, legal information, dashboards, price lists and promotions. Customer accounts can be created with individual permissions, and support staff can access customer views through controlled user impersonation.
The Pro edition also supports reporting, individual purchasing and selling prices, customer segmentation and an unlimited number of subusers. These functions make it practical for established hosting companies and agencies that want to sell domains under their own commercial identity.
AutoDNS Registrar is intended for accredited registrars using their own registry credentials. It combines InterNetX automation with direct access to the registries covered by the customer’s accreditation.
Domain registration includes access to redundant authoritative name servers. DNS functions cover zone administration, DNSSEC, virtual name servers and automation through the AutoDNS API.
NodeSecure adds a globally distributed Anycast DNS network with 46 name-server locations. Requests are routed to a nearby available node, improving response times while reducing dependence on an individual server or geographic location.
Additional domain services include Redirector, BackupMX, MailProxy, Whois Privacy, trustee services and registry-specific local-presence solutions. These options are useful for international businesses that need extensions with residency, administrative-contact or local-registration requirements.
Security services are more extensive than those of an ordinary retail registrar. DomainSafe protects important domains inside a virtual vault using additional PIN and mTAN authorization. This reduces the risk of unauthorized transfers, deletions or contact changes.
Registry Lock applies protection directly at registry level for supported extensions such as
.de, .at, .ch, .com, .net and .se. Critical changes remain blocked until they pass an additional manual or authenticated release process.Brand owners can use the Trademark Clearinghouse and several domain-blocking products, including GlobalBlock, GlobalBlock+, AdultBlock, DPML, ShortBlock and Uni EPS. These services prevent third parties from registering protected trademarks across groups of participating extensions.
GlobalBlock can protect an exact trademark across more than 600 extensions, while GlobalBlock+ extends the coverage to selected visually similar variants. This is particularly useful for banks, online stores, government institutions and international brands exposed to phishing, impersonation and typosquatting.
The encryption catalog includes TLS/SSL certificates, S/MIME certificates, code-signing certificates, document-signing certificates and Verified Mark Certificates. Certificate orders and renewals can be managed directly through AutoDNS.
Available SSL products include domain-validation, organization-validation and extended-validation certificates, together with wildcard and multi-domain options. A certificate wizard assists with product selection, CSR creation and the ordering process.
The free Basic SSL certificate is available for eligible domains registered and managed through InterNetX. It can secure the main domain and as many as nine subdomains, making it useful for straightforward websites and service endpoints.
The SSL reseller program has no participation fee. Resellers pay only for the certificates they order and determine their own selling prices. Bulk administration, renewal management and API automation support businesses with large certificate inventories.
Multi-year purchasing is available for selected certificate products. Certificates still require periodic revalidation and reissuance in accordance with industry validity limits, even when the commercial term covers several years.
The server portfolio is organized around professional and enterprise workloads.
Cloud Servers use KVM virtualization with allocated processor, memory and storage resources. Instances can be provisioned quickly, expanded as requirements grow and operated without a long minimum runtime. They are suitable for development environments, business applications, temporary projects and scalable web services.
Bare Metal Servers provide exclusive physical resources combined with the flexibility of a virtualized KVM instance. Processor, memory and storage are not shared with unrelated customers, avoiding noisy-neighbor performance fluctuations. Snapshots and easier resource administration retain several advantages normally associated with cloud environments.
These servers are appropriate for databases, high-traffic applications, hosting platforms and other workloads requiring predictable performance.
Reseller Cloud provides dedicated physical hardware virtualized as a private KVM cloud. Hosting providers and agencies can create separate customer instances, allocate resources, assign dedicated IP addresses and install their preferred operating systems or ISO images.
Private VLANs and an internal
/24 network allow customer systems to communicate inside an isolated environment. The service can be operated under the reseller’s own brand, making it practical for companies that want to sell virtual servers without building and maintaining their own data-center hardware.Custom Dedicated Servers are assembled for applications with specific hardware, storage, network or software requirements. Complex projects can combine redundant application servers, database systems, high-availability architecture, failover, Ceph storage and managed Kubernetes.
Customers can choose unmanaged operation when they require root access, command-line administration, Windows, Ubuntu, Debian or custom installation media. The Managed Service option covers operating-system maintenance, security updates, firewall optimization, database configuration, mail-system monitoring and Plesk administration.
Backup services and DDoS mitigation are available as additional infrastructure components. The DDoS service can protect an existing server address without forcing a migration to a replacement IP.
Colocation and server housing are available in the company’s Munich data-center environment. Businesses can install their own equipment while using InterNetX power, cooling, network connectivity, physical security and technical assistance.
Remote Hands support covers physical tasks that would otherwise require the customer to send staff to the facility. This can include checking equipment, replacing components, restarting systems or assisting with cabling.
Service information and account interfaces are available in German and English. The support organization covers eight languages, which is valuable when handling registry rules and international domain requirements. Product prices are primarily displayed in euros, excluding VAT.
