Ingenuity Cloud Services is a cloud infrastructure and hosting provider operated under Hosting Services, Inc., with a business background connected to the former UK2 Group / UK2.net hosting lineage. The UK2 hosting history goes back to 1998, while the wider THG technology platform started in 2004. UK2 was acquired by THG in 2017 and later became part of the THG Ingenuity Cloud Services infrastructure business.

This is not mainly a simple budget shared-hosting company. Ingenuity Cloud Services is much stronger in infrastructure-oriented services such as SSD VPS / virtual servers, global colocation, cloud infrastructure, bandwidth-heavy hosting, DDoS mitigation, managed support, shared hosting, email hosting, website builder tools, and ecommerce infrastructure through the THG Commerce Platform. Their scale is much larger than a small independent host, with references to 35+ data centers, 130,000+ customers worldwide, 10,000+ virtualized servers, and a 35Tbps+ network capacity.

A very important current point is the company’s bare metal exit. As of the March 18, 2026 bare metal termination notice, Ingenuity Cloud Services made the strategic decision to leave the bare metal dedicated server market entirely. All bare metal dedicated server services are scheduled to cease on May 31, 2026, and new bare metal orders are no longer accepted. Their SSD VPS and other non-bare-metal products continue, but dedicated server and GPU bare-metal buyers should treat those legacy product areas as transitional, not as a safe long-term purchasing route.
