InfoQuest Technologies, Inc. is a privately held American web hosting, email and data center company established in 1994. Based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, it has remained independent and focused on business-oriented hosting and infrastructure services for more than three decades. Its customer base extends across all 50 US states and more than 20 countries.

The company is led by Norm Dallago, President, and operates with a relatively small technical team. This structure gives InfoQuest a more direct service model than large mass-market hosting groups, especially for businesses that need help with legacy applications, Microsoft technologies, migrations, networking or colocated equipment.

Its portfolio covers domain registration, domain transfers, Linux shared hosting, Windows shared hosting, managed WordPress hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, email hosting, Hosted Microsoft Exchange, email filtering, email archiving, DNS hosting, SSL certificates, website building, website design, technical consulting, colocation, private connectivity and managed infrastructure.

A notable advantage is the continued availability of both Linux and Microsoft hosting. Conventional Windows shared hosting has become increasingly uncommon, but InfoQuest maintains an environment based on Windows Server 2025, IIS 10 and Microsoft SQL Server 2022. Support for classic ASP, current ASP.NET Core releases and several older .NET versions also makes the platform practical for businesses maintaining legacy applications that cannot be moved easily to Linux.

Linux shared hosting starts with support for one domain, 5 GB of SSD storage, 25 mailboxes and 250 GB of monthly bandwidth. Larger packages support up to 20 domains, 50 GB of SSD storage, 100 mailboxes and 1 TB of monthly traffic.

The Linux environment combines Apache and NGINX with MariaDB, phpMyAdmin and selectable PHP versions from 7.4 through 8.4. Accounts also support Node.js, Laravel, Git deployment, Composer, application installation, free Let’s Encrypt certificates, backup tools and web application firewall protection.

Windows shared hosting uses a similar four-package structure. It includes Microsoft SQL Server databases, MariaDB databases, classic ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, Git, webmail, SSL management, backups and the SiteJet website builder. The entry package includes one Microsoft SQL database and one MariaDB database, while the largest Business plan supports 20 databases of each type.

Premium WordPress Hosting uses LiteSpeed Enterprise with LSCache, HTTP/3, Brotli compression, Redis or Memcached and PHP 8. Security functions include malware scanning, rate limiting, two-factor authentication and web application firewall protection.

The WordPress Toolkit handles installation, cloning, staging, updates, rollback, security checks, WP-CLI and point-in-time restoration. Email hosting is included, allowing businesses to manage their website and domain mailboxes under the same service.

Standard Linux hosting can also run WordPress, but the Premium WordPress range adds stronger caching, more automation and better development tools. It is the more suitable choice for active business websites, online stores and agencies, while conventional Linux hosting remains adequate for smaller websites, blogs and company presentations.

The SiteJet Builder is included with Linux hosting. It provides responsive templates, AI-assisted starting layouts, drag-and-drop editing, multilingual website support, online-store functions, SEO-friendly URLs and access to custom HTML, SCSS and JavaScript. More experienced users can therefore customize the underlying code instead of being limited to a closed visual editor.

Linux VPS configurations provide between 2 and 12 virtual processor cores, 2–12 GB RAM, 64–256 GB SSD storage and 2–12 TB of monthly data transfer. Every server includes a public IPv4 address, full root access, SSH, firewall controls and a choice of Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, CentOS, Fedora, Debian, OpenSUSE or Rocky Linux.

Plesk can be added for graphical administration. Managed assistance is also available for customers who prefer InfoQuest to handle operating-system maintenance and more complex administrative work.

Linux VPS backups are transferred automatically to offsite storage each day and retained for seven days. These servers are suitable for larger websites, custom applications, development environments, databases and customers who have outgrown shared hosting without requiring a complete physical server.

Windows VPS packages run Windows Server 2025 Standard and include full Administrator and Remote Desktop access. Configurations range from 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 48 GB SSD storage to 8 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 192 GB SSD storage.

Each Windows VPS includes one static IPv4 address, monthly transfer allowances between 2 TB and 12 TB, firewall controls and access to reboot, console and resource-management functions. Additional IP addresses, Remote Desktop users, SQL Server licensing, Plesk and upgraded resources can be added.

The published Windows VPS network specifications are not fully consistent across the service information. Depending on the package or technical description, network rates range from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps, while another specification refers to a 1 Gbps network port. Customers with bandwidth-intensive applications should obtain written confirmation of the committed and burstable network speed before ordering.

Basic Email Hosting provides custom-domain mailboxes with 1 GB of storage, webmail, IMAP, POP3, SSL/TLS, forwarding, autoresponders, filtering and spam protection. It is mainly suitable for individual addresses and very small organizations.

Hosted Microsoft Exchange adds Outlook Web App 2019, desktop and mobile synchronization, shared calendars, contacts, tasks, pooled mailbox storage and message-level restoration. Exchange users can be combined with conventional mailboxes, allowing businesses to reserve the more advanced synchronization functions for employees who actually require them.

The separate Email Security service protects all addresses associated with one domain through cloud-based filtering. A higher package adds email archiving. Its functions include inbound and outbound filtering, quarantine management, email continuity, phishing detection, malware protection and controls for compromised accounts.

Domain registration includes domain locking, management controls, automatic renewal, optional WHOIS privacy and a 30-day post-expiration period during which eligible domains may still be recovered at the normal renewal cost. Domain transfers normally require five to seven days and add one year to the existing registration period.

Independent DNS hosting is available for customers who do not require a complete hosting account. The advanced DNS package adds URL forwarding and Let’s Encrypt support.

SSL options include free Let’s Encrypt certificates and commercial domain-validation, organization-validation, extended-validation and wildcard certificates.

Custom Design Services cover responsive website development, redesigns, maintenance, migrations, PHP, ASP, .NET programming, database work, branding and custom integrations. Larger projects are prepared through a quotation and formal statement of work.

Professional Services are intended for smaller technical assignments such as server administration, website repair, software installation, DNS configuration, email setup, firewall or VPN configuration, migrations, backups, security hardening and database optimization. Billable work begins only after the customer approves the estimated cost.

A private-cloud service called Datacenter-in-a-Box combines dedicated hardware with KVM or Xen virtualization, role-based access, VLANs, private networking, snapshots, backups, monitoring and API automation. Starter and dual-node configurations have been prepared, although the service remains in a waitlist stage rather than general production availability.

Dedicated servers are covered by the contractual conditions, but they are not offered through a standard publicly priced product range. Businesses requiring physical hardware can instead request a customized configuration, colocation arrangement or private-cloud deployment.

The main company interface is modern, responsive and suitable for desktop and mobile use. The primary language is English, while the customer storefront supports 25 languages, including Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Portuguese is available in two regional versions.

Prices, invoices and refunds are handled in US dollars. The storefront follows a functional account-management layout for ordering, invoicing, domain administration, support requests and recurring payments.
