iNES GROUP is one of Romania’s established telecommunications and infrastructure providers, with services aimed mainly at companies, public institutions, and customers requiring dependable local connectivity. INES GROUP S.R.L. was legally established in 1993, while the iNES operational history dates from 1995. Marius Ionescu has held the position of Director General and legal representative for many years.

iNES is considerably more than a conventional web hosting provider. Its portfolio combines Shared Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Dedicated Storage, Server Colocation, Internet access, data transport, dark fiber, VPN, MPLS, VoIP, Hosted PBX, managed IT services, IPTV, and OTT television. The company operates with an estimated workforce of between 51 and 200 employees.

Its strongest advantage is the integration of hosting, data center infrastructure, and telecommunications under the same Romanian operator. The company runs its own professional data center at its Bucharest headquarters, together with its core Internet infrastructure, IPTV headend, technical operations, and customer-support teams. Its metropolitan network includes more than 2,000 kilometers of fiber-optic infrastructure throughout Bucharest and parts of Ilfov County.

The Colocation service accommodates individual rack units as well as complete private racks. It includes redundant power, redundant cooling, authenticated 24/7 access, CCTV monitoring, dedicated IP resources, routing options, BGP support, and direct connectivity to the iNES backbone. This makes it suitable for businesses operating proprietary hardware, disaster-recovery platforms, backup systems, private clouds, and applications requiring low latency in Romania.

The VPS platform is based on Cisco UCS infrastructure and VMware virtualization. CPU, memory, and storage resources are allocated as guaranteed capacity rather than undefined shared resources. Customers can choose between managed and self-managed configurations, with operating-system installation, dedicated IP addresses, optional firewall protection, monitoring, maintenance, and vertical resource upgrades available when required.

The Dedicated Server and Dedicated Storage range is configured around each project rather than sold through a basic automated ordering page. Storage can be implemented through SAN, NAS, or local storage, with RAID options, redundancy policies, expandable capacity, dedicated network connectivity, hardware maintenance, and continuous enterprise support. These solutions are appropriate for databases, ERP and CRM platforms, business applications, private infrastructure, and workloads requiring predictable physical resources.

The Shared Hosting packages combine website hosting, email, DNS administration, and database access within a single account. Every package includes cPanel, weekly backups, unlimited subdomains, and 24/7 technical support. The entry package supports a single website alias and does not include a database, while the larger packages add databases, FTP users, additional domains, and more email accounts.

Corporate connectivity remains a central part of the iNES business. Symmetrical Internet access can reach 10 Gbps, while private networking options include Layer 2 transport, VPN, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, and dedicated dark fiber. Dark-fiber connections can support capacities of 10, 40, or 100 Gbps. These services are well suited to banks, medical organizations, government institutions, retail chains, software companies, logistics providers, and businesses connecting multiple offices or technical locations.

The voice portfolio includes SIP Trunks, concurrent call channels, number portability, IVR menus, call groups, queues, softphones, and Hosted PBX systems operating from the iNES cloud. Managed IT services can cover server administration, networking, storage, operating systems, application maintenance, software licensing, updates, monitoring, and technical intervention.

A significant expansion took place in October 2013, when iNES completed the acquisition of DigiCom Systems. This strengthened its telecommunications operations and increased its presence in the Romanian business-connectivity market.

The website has a modern and responsive design that works well on current desktop and mobile devices. Romanian and English language selectors are available, although several English sections still contain Romanian text. Public hosting prices are mainly displayed in euros, while Romanian lei are used for invoicing and contractual settlement.
