iHost is a Moldovan hosting and infrastructure provider operated by LEVEL7 S.R.L. The company was founded in 2009, while its autonomous network, AS43588, has operated since 2007. Maxim Macovei is connected with the company as its founder and technical leader, and the organization has developed into a medium-sized regional hosting business serving commercial customers, technical professionals and Moldovan public institutions.

The service portfolio extends well beyond conventional shared hosting. Customers can choose from NVMe web hosting, managed WordPress hosting, e-commerce hosting, KVM virtual servers, VMware cloud infrastructure, dedicated servers, private cloud platforms, colocation, business email, managed databases, online storage, backup, SSL certificates, infrastructure monitoring, load balancing, DDoS mitigation, web application security and managed server administration. More than 6,000 domains are hosted across the company’s infrastructure.

Shared hosting is organized into Personal, Business and Unlimited packages. These plans combine NVMe storage, email hosting, support for multiple websites, generous traffic allowances, SSL certificates, daily enterprise backup, anti-spam filtering, malware protection, active DDoS mitigation and free website migration. DirectAdmin is included as the main hosting control panel, while CloudLinux account isolation, KernelCare updates, Imunify360 protection, IDS/IPS filtering and a web application firewall provide a stronger security environment than many basic shared hosting platforms.

The Unlimited package includes considerably higher processing, memory and storage allowances, although normal fair-use conditions still apply. It is better suited to customers managing several resource-intensive websites rather than those expecting unrestricted server consumption.

Managed WordPress packages include WP-CLI, daily backups, application-level firewall protection and performance optimization. The e-commerce plans provide greater CPU and memory allocations, CDN integration, extended backup retention and additional security controls for online stores. A separate developer range uses lightweight LXC environments for testing, development work and small applications.

The cloud portfolio includes both KVM and VMware-based products. The newer KVM Cloud Server range begins with small virtual machines and scales to configurations with as many as 24 virtual processors, 96 GB of RAM and 1.5 TB of storage. Customers receive virtual console access, operating-system reinstallation tools, private networking and flexible resource options.

The VMware cloud range supports high-availability configurations, vMotion, snapshots, private networks and fault-tolerance options. Some service descriptions still reference VMware ESXi 6.7, so organizations with strict software-version requirements should obtain the exact platform version as part of their quotation.

Dedicated servers are based on HPE and Dell hardware with Intel Core and Intel Xeon processors. Linux, Windows and VMware installations are available, together with remote management and network interfaces ranging from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps. Some standard configurations use older Xeon E3 and E5 v2 processors, but memory, storage, bandwidth and software licensing can be customized. Normal provisioning can be completed within approximately two hours when the requested hardware is available.

Private cloud platforms can be deployed with VMware or OpenStack. These single-tenant environments support dedicated compute resources, isolated VLANs, VPN access, distributed storage, load balancing and optional replication between facilities. Colocation is also available for customers that prefer to install their own servers, network devices or complete racks.

Business email is based on Kerio technologies and includes calendars, contacts, tasks and mobile synchronization. The collaboration portfolio also includes Nextcloud environments with Collabora, Talk and groupware functions. Managed database services cover MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, while encrypted backup storage can include long-term retention and replication between geographic locations.

Security services include website-level and server-level DDoS protection, corporate network mitigation, web application firewall filtering, malware detection, bot management and vulnerability protection. The DDoS platform combines local filtering capacity with connectivity and mitigation technologies from Voxility and other security networks.

CDN and load-balancing services can be integrated through Cloudflare. Additional monitoring services cover websites, ports, server resources, blacklists and general infrastructure availability. Linux and Windows administration can be purchased for emergencies, individual technical tasks or continuous management.

The website is available in Romanian, Russian and English, making the company accessible to local customers and international organizations operating in Moldova. The interface works on modern computers and mobile devices, although some product information is not fully synchronized between language versions.
