📄 Editorial Review

iHost.al is an Albanian hosting, domain registration, streaming, and web-development provider founded in 2012 in Tirana. Thimaq Strati is the company’s founder, CEO, and owner, while the network organization is registered as "Thimaq Strati trading as iHost.al." The company has grown into a diversified local technology provider covering both infrastructure services and development work.

Its hosting portfolio is broad and includes Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, VPS/VDS, Dedicated Servers, Email Hosting, Cloud Storage, SSL Certificates, domain registration, domain reselling, radio streaming, and video streaming. Web design, application development, custom software, SEO, website maintenance, graphic design, and video production are also available.

Shared hosting uses NVMe/SSD storage and includes free SSL certificates, email hosting, MySQL databases, Softaculous application installation, backups, and cPanel management. Entry-level plans start with 20 GB of storage, while larger packages increase storage, websites, mailboxes, and database resources.

WordPress hosting follows a similar structure, combining NVMe storage, pre-installed WordPress, SSL, email accounts, migration assistance, and automatic WordPress updates. The service is suitable for smaller websites as well as customers requiring larger WordPress installations with additional databases and email capacity.

Reseller hosting includes cPanel/WHM, private nameservers, white-label operation, CloudLinux resource isolation, and JetBackup. This gives agencies and hosting resellers enough control to create separate hosting accounts and manage resources independently.

VPS/VDS services use NVMe storage, IPv4 and IPv6 networking, root access, and 1 Gbps connectivity. Customers can monitor CPU, storage, and bandwidth usage, reboot or shut down systems remotely, and reinstall the operating system. Network-level DDoS protection is available through Voxility. Current configurations range from smaller 2 vCore and 2 GB RAM instances to larger plans with 6 vCore and 24 GB RAM.

Dedicated servers are hosted in Albania and include Intel Core, AMD Ryzen, and dual-Xeon configurations. Current systems use NVMe storage, 1 Gbps networking, and dedicated IPv4 addresses, with normal provisioning times of approximately one to three days.

Email hosting is available separately from ordinary web hosting and supports Webmail, EAS, POP3, IMAP, and SMTP. Anti-spam, antivirus, SSL, and DDoS protection are included, with plans covering approximately five to 30 mailboxes.

Cloud storage is provided through the iDrive.al service, allowing customers to store and access files from different devices and share files or folders. It is suitable for documents, photos, video, music, and general data storage.

Streaming remains a significant part of the product range. Radio hosting supports SHOUTcast v1/v2 and Icecast v2, while video products include live streaming, Video on Demand, TV AutoDJ, and CCTV relay. Larger television-streaming packages support Full HD broadcasting and continuous station operation.

Domain services are particularly useful for Albanian customers. iHost.al handles .AL registrations through iRegister and provides DNS management, nameserver configuration, WHOIS management, privacy functions, renewals, and transfers. A separate reseller system includes API access, custom retail pricing, WHMCS integration, and account assistance. Domain accreditation also extends to several international and European extensions.

The company also provides responsive website and e-commerce development using WordPress and other CMS platforms such as Joomla, Drupal, and PrestaShop. Application development covers Android, iOS, and Windows, while additional services include custom software, SEO, maintenance, logo and visual-identity work, business graphics, and video advertising.

The commercial website is primarily available in English, while the blog includes substantial Albanian content together with some English material. Service pricing is primarily displayed in EUR.

Backup conditions deserve attention. Hosting packages include backup functionality, with some configurations referring to three-day backups and others to daily off-site backups retained for longer periods. Contractual terms classify backup service as complementary and leave final responsibility for independent data copies with the customer. Maintaining a separate external backup is therefore advisable.
