The operating company, ICUK Computing Services Ltd, was incorporated on November 8, 2001, and is based in Croydon, Surrey, United Kingdom. The business remains privately controlled, with Costar and Barnett both recorded as persons with significant control. ICUK has remained independent, without external investors, and operates as a profitable, debt-free company.

The company began with Internet access and reseller services before developing its own network, hosting infrastructure and browser-based management environment. More than 850 reseller partners use ICUK services. Unlimited Reseller Web Hosting is one of the core products. The hosting environment supports an unrestricted number of hosted domains and includes Linux, WordPress and Windows hosting alongside email-only accounts. Storage is based on SSD/NVMe technology, data transfer is unlimited, databases are included, and free Let's Encrypt certificates are supported. Resellers can operate under their own identity with custom nameservers and branding rather than exposing ICUK directly to their customers.

Linux hosting includes PHP versions from 5.6 through 8.4, PHP-FPM, Zend OPcache, MySQL, SSH access, Git, cron jobs, Perl, Python, Ruby, custom php.ini settings, redirects and URL rewriting. This gives developers considerably more flexibility than a minimal shared-hosting package and accommodates both ordinary CMS websites and more customized PHP applications.

The integrated WordPress Hosting environment includes specialized management functions instead of treating WordPress simply as another installer. The VPS range includes both Windows and Linux virtual servers with configurable CPU, memory and disk allocations. Linux choices include Ubuntu, Debian and other distributions, while custom ISO images can also be mounted. Windows Server is available for Microsoft workloads. VPS storage uses SSD technology with hardware RAID 10 and battery-backed cache, network access uses a 1 Gbps interface with unlimited transfer, and DDoS protection is included. Server checkpoints, automated backups, remote console access and optional advanced backup and replication features are also available. CloudPanel and Virtualmin are among the supported server-management options.

The telecommunications portfolio is considerably broader than the catalog of a conventional hosting provider. Wholesale Broadband includes SoADSL, SOGEA, SOGFast and FTTP, with fibre services extending to 1 Gbps and, through selected infrastructure, symmetric 2.5 Gbps connectivity. Available carrier networks include Openreach, BT Wholesale, CityFibre, Sky, Virgin Media Business and Colt. MPLS and multi-site connectivity solutions are also supported.

Hosted VoIP and SIP Trunks operate on ICUK's own multihomed infrastructure. Resellers can provision numbers, port existing numbers, configure call routing and automatically provision more than 100 types of telephone equipment. Mobile and desktop applications are supported, while fraud controls and service monitoring are integrated into the platform. Outbound Business SMS and Fax-to-Email broaden the communications portfolio further.

The entire service is structured around white-label delivery. Customer portals, invoices, tariffs, service information and management tools can carry the reseller's own identity. ICUK normally remains behind the reseller, and the reseller retains the contractual and commercial relationship with the end customer.
