Host Today B.V. is a Dutch hosting provider based in Putten, Gelderland, operating since 2008. The company began as a student project and developed into a hosting business serving private customers, companies and organizations in the Netherlands and abroad. Its Dutch legal entity is registered under Chamber of Commerce number 67095402.

The service portfolio covers domain registration, shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, SSL certificates, email filtering, WordPress maintenance, managed services and Service Level Agreements. Website development can also be arranged through a partner. The overall approach is oriented more toward personal technical assistance and managed hosting than toward competing solely on the lowest possible price.

An important expansion took place on August 1, 2019, when HostToday acquired the web-hosting activities of Xenat Internet Services. Customers from that platform were subsequently migrated to HostToday infrastructure, including a move from cPanel to DirectAdmin.

Shared web hosting is divided into Starter, Business and Pro packages. Starter already includes unlimited traffic under a Fair Use Policy, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases and daily backups. Storage ranges from 2 GB to 10 GB. SSD storage is standard, while Business and Pro plans include website migration assistance.

Reseller hosting is suitable for customers managing several websites and for web agencies providing hosting under their own customer relationships. Packages support up to 5, 10 or 20 websites and provide between 5 GB and 50 GB of storage. Daily backups, databases, email accounts and Installatron are included, with DirectAdmin used for hosting administration.

VPS hosting begins with one CPU core, 512 MB RAM, 20 GB storage and one IPv4 address. Medium and Large configurations increase resources up to 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM and 60 GB storage. Traffic is unlimited under a Fair Use Policy, while additional CPU, RAM and SSD capacity can be added when needed. Managed VPS service is also available for customers who prefer HostToday to handle more of the system administration.

The current ordering environment and some general VPS information contain different prices for optional VPS resources, so the checkout configuration is the best reference when additional CPU, RAM or storage is required.

Domain registration covers more than 350 extensions. Customers retain ownership of domains registered in their name and can obtain EPP transfer codes directly through the customer system. Domain forwarding, custom nameservers and privacy protection for eligible extensions are also available.

SSL options include domain validation, organization validation and extended validation certificates. Installation assistance is available, making the service practical for business websites and online stores that require more than a basic automated certificate setup.

Email protection is available through SpamExperts, covering incoming mail, outgoing mail or both. The filtering platform includes antivirus and malware scanning together with adjustable filtering sensitivity.

The hosting platform has received several notable infrastructure upgrades. In 2024, the web01 through web06 servers were replaced with more powerful systems and Imunify360 was introduced for improved malware detection and attack protection. The backup environment was also renewed, with daily website backups now retained for 15 days.

A major email infrastructure upgrade followed in March 2026, introducing an in-house network of 10 dedicated mail relay servers. SPF, DKIM, DMARC, reverse DNS, IP reputation management, blacklist monitoring and controlled delivery toward major email providers are incorporated into this platform. This gives HostToday considerably more control over outbound email reputation and delivery.

The web01 through web06 hosting infrastructure received another hardware refresh in August 2026, continuing the company's regular replacement cycle for shared-hosting systems.

The primary website is in Dutch, matching the company's domestic market focus, while the customer/account environment supports both Dutch and English. Hosting and domain prices are charged in EUR, generally excluding 21% Dutch VAT unless stated otherwise.
