HostPro is a managed web hosting provider whose brand dates back to 1998. The HOSTPRO name has been used for web hosting services at hostpro.com since January 1998. The original Los Angeles business was co-founded by Alex Kazerani with college friends during the early commercial Internet period and was acquired by Micron Electronics for approximately $24 million in 1999.

The present hosting operation is contractually separate from that original US company. Current hosting agreements identify HOSTPROAXIS LTD, based in Cyprus, as the service provider. LinkedIn classifies the business as privately held and places it in the 51–200 employee range.

HostPro concentrates heavily on managed hosting, with the main portfolio built around shared NVMe hosting, managed WordPress hosting, managed KVM VPS, managed cloud hosting, domain registration and SSL certificates. Additional cPanel and DirectAdmin hosting ranges remain available through the customer billing platform, providing more granular configurations than the simplified packages shown in the primary hosting catalog.

The standard Web Hosting range uses NVMe storage with RAID10 and Intel Xeon server hardware. Simple supports two websites with 512 MB RAM and 10 GB NVMe storage, Strong increases capacity to 15 websites, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe, while Powerful allows 25 websites with 1.5 GB RAM and 30 GB NVMe.

Customers can choose between cPanel and DirectAdmin. The hosting environment includes unlimited bandwidth, email accounts, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Nginx, FTP, SFTP, SCP, cron jobs and SSH access on request. Security and application tools include Imunify AV+, Softaculous with more than 300 applications, DDoS protection, free Let's Encrypt SSL and integration with Cloudflare.

Backups are generated every day and retained for 30 days, while website migrations are completed free of charge. This is a particularly useful combination for customers moving established websites because migration assistance is included rather than being limited to a self-service plugin.

The additional DirectAdmin Hosting, DirectAdmin Hosting X2, cPanel Hosting and cPanel Hosting X2 ranges provide smaller entry packages as well as larger configurations with increased storage, PHP memory and inode limits. Selected tiers include free domains, daily backups and commercial SSL certificates.

Managed WordPress Hosting combines NVMe storage with LiteSpeed, LSCache, staging, WordPress Manager, WP-CLI, Git, PHP Selector, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Varnish, Memcached and Redis. The Start package accommodates five WordPress installations with 20 GB NVMe storage, Pro supports 15 installations with 30 GB, while Business reaches 30 WordPress installations and 60 GB.

Daily backups, DDoS protection, malware scanning, unlimited email, free migrations and round-the-clock WordPress assistance make these plans suitable for businesses that want WordPress performance without handling routine server administration themselves.

The Managed NVMe VPS platform is one of the more attractive parts of the portfolio. NVMe VPS-1 starts with 4 GB RAM, two CPU cores, 100 GB NVMe storage and unlimited bandwidth. The range scales through eight configurations up to 48 GB RAM, 24 CPU cores and 960 GB NVMe storage.

KVM virtualization provides isolated resources, and every VPS includes root access and a dedicated IPv4 address. Customers can select an available operating system or deploy their own ISO.

VPS management covers operating-system diagnostics, security updates, firewall configuration, control-panel installation, PHP modules, email troubleshooting, CMS deployment, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, Nginx, SSL installation and other routine server-administration work. Daily VPS backups are retained for 30 days and VPS migrations are also included without an additional migration charge.

Cloud Hosting begins with 1 GB RAM, one CPU and 35 GB NVMe storage and scales up to 32 GB RAM, eight CPUs and 700 GB storage. Unlimited bandwidth is included throughout the range.

Cloud management includes monitoring, security patching, firewall configuration, DDoS protection, SSL, DNS management and application migration assistance. It provides a practical middle ground for applications requiring more flexibility than conventional shared hosting while still benefiting from administrator assistance.

Domain registration and transfer services are available through the customer area. Commercial SSL certificates from Certum include standard, Wildcard, Trusted and EV products. Free Let's Encrypt SSL remains available with normal hosting packages.

The current active product catalog concentrates on hosting, WordPress, VPS and cloud services rather than conventional dedicated-server packages.

The main website is available in English and Slovak. The WHMCS customer area supports additional interface languages. Hosting can be purchased in USD and EUR.

There is an administrative distinction worth noting for business customers. Current Terms and the Refund Policy identify HOSTPROAXIS LTD in Cyprus, while an older Privacy Policy identifies HOSTPRO.COM PTE LTD. Some areas of the billing system also retain HostPro Ukraine branding, and HOSTPRO LAB LLC has been associated with domain registrar operations. For hosting contracts, HOSTPROAXIS LTD is the current contractual entity.
