HOSTOWEB is a Moroccan hosting and infrastructure provider founded in 2006 in Fès. The company operates as HOSTOWEB SARL/AU and has developed from conventional web hosting into a broader infrastructure business covering cloud servers, dedicated hardware, colocation, network connectivity, security, professional email and managed services. Mehdi Tazi is the founder and CEO, while the company has grown into a team of roughly 11-50 employees serving customers in more than 22 countries.

A major strength is the combination of conventional hosting with its own network and data center infrastructure. HOSTOWEB operates AS37738, allowing it to provide services such as BGP sessions, BYOIP and direct IP transit in addition to ordinary shared hosting and VPS products. Cloud infrastructure is available in Morocco and Europe, while its wider network presence supports connectivity in several international locations.

Shared Hosting is based on cPanel and includes CloudLinux, LiteSpeed Web Server, free Basic SSL, FTP access, backups, anti-spam protection, traffic statistics, application installation and ImunifyAV+ malware protection. The entry Lixus plan includes 50 GB of storage, while larger packages increase storage, databases, email accounts and the number of hosted domains. Monthly bandwidth is unlimited. Complete daily and weekly cPanel backups are retained, and JetBackup allows customers to restore data directly from their hosting account.

WordPress Hosting provides plans with dedicated resource allocations ranging from 1 GB to 4 GB RAM, along with 100 GB to unlimited storage and unlimited data transfer. Depending on the package, customers can operate one or several WordPress websites, with higher plans receiving additional CPU, RAM and storage resources.

Dedicated Servers provide physical hardware with root access, IPv4 and IPv6, hardware RAID, IP KVM, remote reboot and reinstallation functions, plus 20 GB of replicated backup storage. Configurations include dual Intel Xeon systems and can run either Linux or Windows, making them suitable for workloads requiring dedicated CPU, RAM and storage resources without virtualization overhead.

The infrastructure portfolio extends considerably beyond ordinary hosting. Colocation Hosting is available for individual 1U servers as well as 10U, 21U and full 42U rack deployments. Larger customers can also use custom cages and private server rooms. Power, cooling, connectivity and physical security remain managed by HOSTOWEB while customers retain control of their own hardware.

Managed Server services are available for VPS, cloud servers, dedicated servers and colocation customers. Depending on the management level, assistance can include monitoring, operating-system maintenance, security updates, RAID monitoring, web and application monitoring, migrations, cPanel or Plesk administration and external backups. This makes the infrastructure more accessible to businesses that need dedicated resources without maintaining a full internal systems-administration team.

HOSTOWEB also operates IP Transit through AS37738. Connections are available over 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps ports across more than 13 on-net data centers, including connectivity options in Morocco, Spain and the United Kingdom. Organizations with their own autonomous system can receive a full BGP routing table or use a default route.

BYOIP and BGP peering are available to customers using racks, dedicated servers and cloud servers. Organizations can bring their own IPv4 ranges, with /24 as the minimum IPv4 prefix, and customers operating their own ASN can establish direct BGP sessions.

The Business VPN service gives companies secure connectivity for offices, branch locations and remote employees. It combines private network access with a dedicated public IP address and allows the customer to select the preferred data center location.

Domain services cover registration, renewal and transfers, with free DNS management and optional WHOIS privacy for eligible extensions. The portfolio includes common international extensions alongside Morocco's .ma namespace.

Professional email is available through the IMAIL platform, combining synchronized email, calendars and collaborative functions. Google Workspace is also offered for businesses that prefer Google's productivity environment.

Security services include certificates from RapidSSL, GeoTrust and DigiCert. Additional security products cover incoming and outgoing spam filtering, email archiving and business endpoint antivirus protection.

The shared hosting platform also includes the Site.pro website builder, giving less technical customers a visual method for creating and publishing a website without installing a separate CMS.
