Hostony.com was a legacy web hosting company founded in 2001, focused on classic hosting services for individuals, small businesses, resellers and hosting companies. The brand later became inactive, with its older hosting portfolio remaining more relevant as a historical record than as a practical option for new customers.

The company offered a traditional hosting mix that included Shared Hosting, Private Label Reseller Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Domains, SSL Certificates and email-related hosting features. Its main value was simplicity: customers could manage websites, mailboxes, databases, domains, traffic and account settings through established control panels instead of needing deep server administration knowledge.

Shared hosting was built around Linux-based packages with cPanel, offering hosted domains, subdomains, FTP accounts, email accounts, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, webmail, statistics, backups, shopping cart scripts, Cron jobs, PHP, Perl, Python and CGI support. For the period when Hostony was active, this was a complete and practical package for small websites, business pages and lightweight online stores.

Their Private Label Reseller Plans were one of the stronger parts of the service. Resellers received bulk disk space and bandwidth, private nameservers and the ability to create their own packages and pricing.
