HostON.ro is a Romanian web hosting provider operated by HOSTON SRL, with its business address in Mărășești, Vrancea and hosting infrastructure located in Focșani. The HostON hosting operation dates from 2018, while the legal company behind the business was incorporated on August 4, 2017. Alin Ghiorghiu is associated with the founding and technical development of the hosting operation.

HostON has grown into a fairly complete local hosting provider rather than concentrating only on inexpensive shared accounts. Its portfolio includes Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, eCommerce Hosting, Performance Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Reseller Hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates and professional email. The shared-hosting platform uses NVMe storage, LiteSpeed Enterprise, CloudLinux with CageFS, Imunify360, JetBackup, free Let's Encrypt SSL and cPanel.

The standard Shared Hosting range consists of SSD START, SSD PLUS, SSD PRO and SSD MAX. Storage runs from 25 GB to 400 GB NVMe, with RAM allocations from 1.5 GB to 8 GB. Depending on the package, customers can host from three websites to an unlimited number. Monthly traffic, databases, email accounts and FTP accounts are unrestricted within the applicable usage conditions. PHP 8.0–8.5, HTTP/3 QUIC, SSH, Node.js, Python, Redis and Memcached are available depending on the selected package.

Daily JetBackup protection is included with shared hosting. Backup retention varies by package from 7 to 30 days, while the larger plans include storage of backup copies in up to two external locations.

The WordPress Hosting range adds WordPress-specific tools such as WordPress Toolkit, staging, LiteSpeed Cache and Redis object caching. WP Flash starts with 32 GB NVMe and 2 GB RAM, while WP Sonic reaches 512 GB NVMe and 10 GB RAM. The WordPress packages include daily backup, free SSL and the same LiteSpeed and CloudLinux environment used throughout the shared platform.

eCommerce Hosting is aimed at WooCommerce and PrestaShop stores. The eBasic through eUltimate packages range from 50 GB to 400 GB NVMe and from 4 GB to 16 GB RAM. Redis and Memcached are included alongside cPanel, LiteSpeed Enterprise, CloudLinux, Imunify360 and daily backup. The eCommerce plans also provide 30-day backup retention and two backup locations, making them better suited to stores and more resource-intensive applications.

The Performance Hosting packages provide an intermediate step between standard shared hosting and a VPS. Boost Web, Turbo Web, Hyper Web and Ultra Web offer between 4 GB and 16 GB RAM together with higher CPU allocations and dedicated Redis caching. Higher packages also include Memcached, while SSH, Git, Node.js and Python remain available for development work. This range is particularly suitable for larger WordPress websites, online stores and web applications that require additional resources without the administration involved with a VPS.

VPS Hosting uses KVM virtualization and includes full root SSH access, a dedicated IPv4 address, NVMe storage, unlimited traffic and a 1 Gbps uplink. The Core range starts with 1 vCPU, 2 GB ECC RAM and 25 GB NVMe and scales to 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 150 GB NVMe. A higher VPS Pro range is also available. Operating-system choices include Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS and AlmaLinux, while cPanel can be added separately.

At the upper end of the portfolio, Dedicated Servers use DELL PowerEdge hardware with Intel Xeon E-2300, Silver or Gold processors, 32 GB to 256 GB ECC RAM and NVMe or SAS storage with RAID options. Dedicated systems include a guaranteed 1 Gbps uplink, data-center-level DDoS protection and the same 99.9% SLA applied to the hosting infrastructure. Dedicated configurations are customized according to the required hardware and service level.

The Reseller Hosting platform combines WHM and cPanel with white-label branding, private nameservers, a dedicated IPv4 address, CloudLinux Reseller Limits, LiteSpeed Enterprise, Imunify360, JetBackup and WHM/cPanel API access. Resellers can create and manage their own customer accounts without assuming responsibility for the underlying server administration. Initial reseller packages range from 80 GB to 480 GB NVMe, with larger Enterprise configurations also available.

Domain services cover more than 100 extensions and include DNSSEC, advanced DNS management, automatic renewal and WHOIS privacy where supported. HostON works with TES Domains for domain registration. Professional email services are also available, while free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates are included with hosting and commercial SSL certificates can be purchased separately.

The website is available in Romanian, English, German, French and Italian, making HostON more accessible outside its domestic market. Pricing is mainly displayed in EUR, although the service remains strongly oriented toward Romanian customers and Romanian-hosted websites.
