The team behind the business had already been involved with technology projects since 2010 and entered the hosting sector in 2012 before creating the HostLAB brand with 100% domestic capital. The business initially operated under an individual company structure and became HostLAB Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. in 2021. Its headquarters are in Nilüfer, Bursa.

HostLAB has developed a broad portfolio that goes well beyond conventional shared hosting. HostLAB also offers Software Licenses under an Internal license model for products such as LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, Softaculous, JetBackup, Imunify360 and KernelCare. These are not original vendor-issued licenses. They operate through modified licensing infrastructure and may not appear as valid licenses through the original software vendor's standard verification systems. Interruptions can occur and permanent availability is not guaranteed. Companies requiring vendor-authorized licensing, compliance documentation or official entitlement should use original software licenses instead.

Additional services include a German VPN using WireGuard with unlimited traffic and a no-log policy, bulk email packages, and turnkey WordPress development. Website-development packages cover blogs, corporate websites and WooCommerce stores and can include theme customization, basic logo work, SEO configuration, performance optimization, security work, responsive design, SSL, email and virtual POS integration depending on the selected package.
