The service is operated by E-DIRECT CORPORATION, legally registered in Taiwan as 易達網股份有限公司. The company was incorporated on May 4, 2000, under registration number 70555973. Its early development included a joint venture between Chinadotcom and Accton Technology, announced in 2000 with initial ownership of 60% and 40%, respectively. The corporate structure later became closely connected with Accton Technology, which represents all 800,000 issued shares. Huang Kuo-hsiu is the registered chairman, and the organization employs approximately 30 people.

Commercial business email was introduced in 2002, followed by web hosting in May 2005.
