Founded in 1999, Hosting.cl is one of Chile’s longest-established web hosting providers. The company was created by two university friends and developed into a hosting operation with more than 30 technology and support professionals, over 36,000 active services, and customers in both Chile and Peru. Cristian Casamayor is associated with the business as founder and CEO, while the commercial entity is Casamayor y Miralles Limitada, also identified as Hosting.cl Ltda.

The company focuses on locally hosted services for businesses whose customers, employees, and visitors are mainly in Chile. Its combination of Santiago-based infrastructure, billing in Chilean pesos, and Spanish-language technical assistance makes it particularly relevant for local companies. The website has a modern, mobile-compatible design, but no multi-language or English version exists.

The standard Web Hosting range is suitable for company websites, email, blogs, WordPress installations, and smaller online projects. Plans include SSD storage, unlimited data transfer, email accounts, MySQL databases, SSL certificates, daily backups with 30-day retention, application installation, a visual website builder, and cPanel management. Transbank compatibility is particularly useful for Chilean merchants.

Hosting Cloud offers dedicated RAM and vCPU resources without requiring customers to administer the underlying operating system. Available configurations range from 2 GB RAM and two vCores to 8 GB RAM and four vCores, with SSD storage between 50 GB and 150 GB. Customers manage websites, databases, email, SSL certificates, applications, and DNS through cPanel, while Hosting.cl handles server monitoring, software maintenance, security updates, firewall administration, and platform management. Root, sudo, and system-level SSH access are not included.

The Windows ASP Hosting range supports ASP.NET applications, Microsoft databases, SSD storage, and Plesk in Spanish. Web files, email, and SQL databases are separated across different server roles, while SQL backups are generated every 12 hours. The continued reference to Plesk 12 should be clarified before ordering because this is an older control-panel generation.

The VPS platform uses VMware virtualization and includes dedicated resources, root access, SSD storage, one IP address, weekly external backups, and cPanel licensing. Entry configurations provide four vCPUs, 4 GB RAM, and 100 GB SSD storage. Activation is normally completed within 24 hours. The operating-system options should be confirmed before purchase, particularly where older CentOS references remain in the service information.

Servidor Dedicado Cloud, also presented as SDC, combines reserved virtual resources with the flexibility of a cloud platform. Configurations include eight to sixteen vCPUs, 32 GB to 64 GB RAM, and 500 GB to 1 TB of SSD storage. Monitoring, automatic backups, technical support, SSL activation, and one IP address are included. This platform is a practical middle ground between a conventional VPS and a physical dedicated server.

Physical Dedicated Servers are available with 64 GB to 256 GB RAM, 16 to 32 processor cores, and mirrored SSD storage. Customers can choose Linux or Windows during deployment. WHM and cPanel can be installed on Linux systems, although the commercial license is billed separately. These systems are suitable for ERP installations, private business applications, databases, larger online stores, and workloads requiring isolated hardware.

Customers that already own server equipment can use Housing and Colocation services in 1U, 2U, and 4U formats. The service includes one dedicated IP address, 1 TB of monthly data transfer, national and international connectivity, guaranteed minimum bandwidth, UPS-protected power, and free KVM access. Hardware maintenance, operating-system management, and application administration remain the customer’s responsibility.

Hosting.cl also acts as an intermediary for .CL Domain Registration, Renewal, and Transfer, working with NIC Chile, Openprovider, and Enom. Domain registration is separate from hosting unless a particular package includes it. Selected premium .CL domains from Dominios.cl can be supplied without an additional charge while an eligible hosting plan remains active. Completed domain registrations, transfers, and renewals are final and are not refundable.

The SSL Certificate range includes automatically renewed certificates through cPanel, paid Comodo certificates for individual domains, and wildcard certificates for subdomains. Free cPanel certificates renew in three-month cycles. Paid certificates include installation or migration assistance, reissuance, and a certificate warranty of up to US$10,000.
