Hosting-Mexico is an established Mexican web hosting and domain provider operated by Innovation Group Hosting-Mexico S de RL de CV. The business started in 2007, following a period of testing local hosting services and searching for a better combination of reasonable prices, accessible technical assistance, and simple account administration.

Its infrastructure was moved to a high-availability data center in 2013, cloud services were added in 2014, Cloud Email followed in 2018, and the reseller platform was relaunched in 2019. Hosting-Mexico now hosts more than 20,000 websites and operates as an accredited Registry.MX registrar for Mexican domain extensions.

The service portfolio includes shared hosting, cloud hosting, reseller hosting, KVM Cloud VPS, dedicated servers, domain registration, WHOIS privacy, business email, SSL certificates, website security, website backups, monitoring, and website-building tools.

The entry-level Shared Hosting packages use NVMe storage, CloudLinux, cPanel, free SSL certificates, Softaculous, email accounts, MySQL databases, and weekly courtesy backups. The Básico package provides 15 GB of storage, 100 GB of monthly transfer, and support for one website. It also includes a free .COM or .COM.MX domain registration during the first year.

Premium increases the available storage to 32 GB and supports four websites, while Ultimate provides 100 GB of storage and accommodates as many as 100 websites. These plans are suitable for personal websites, professional presentations, company pages, smaller WordPress installations, and modest online stores.

Free migration is available for qualifying cPanel accounts. The original hosting account must remain active, permit a complete cPanel backup, and contain no more than 4 GB of data. This restriction makes the free migration service most useful for smaller websites and email accounts.

Cloud Hosting remains a shared hosting environment, but each package receives larger CPU and memory allocations. The platform uses redundant NVMe storage, redundant network and electrical infrastructure, and an application accelerator.

The Personal package includes 2 GB of RAM and two vCPU cores. Business increases the allocation to four cores, while Elite includes six cores. Business and Elite also permit an unlimited number of websites, making them better suited to agencies, developers, or businesses managing several projects from one account.

The Reseller Hosting range provides white-label cPanel and WHM accounts. Depending on the selected package, customers can create between 20 and 90 individual cPanel accounts and receive between 12 GB and 100 GB of storage, together with 200 GB to 1 TB of monthly transfer.

Reseller packages include Softaculous, CloudLinux, RAID 1 storage, weekly courtesy backups, and support for multiple PHP versions. The reseller remains responsible for billing and supporting end customers. A WHMCS billing-system license is not included.

Cloud VPS uses KVM virtualization and includes root access, guaranteed RAM, dedicated CPU resources, SSD storage, dedicated IPv4 addresses, AlmaLinux, and a cPanel/WHM license.

The smallest VPS configuration includes 2 GB of RAM, two CPU cores, 60 GB of SSD storage, and 1 TB of monthly transfer. The largest standard configuration increases these resources to 8 GB of RAM, four CPU cores, 300 GB of SSD storage, and 4 TB of transfer.

These VPS plans are unmanaged. Hosting-Mexico maintains the physical server and virtualization infrastructure, while the customer remains responsible for the operating system, software installations, updates, security configuration, backups, firewall rules, and application maintenance.

The Dedicated Server range also includes root access, cPanel/WHM, AlmaLinux, RAID 1 storage, remote power management, and 15 TB of monthly transfer.

Available configurations range from an Intel Xeon E3-1270 v2 server with 32 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD storage to a dual Intel Xeon Gold 6142 machine with 256 GB of RAM and 6.4 TB of NVMe storage. Some entry-level configurations use older processor generations, but they can still suit workloads requiring dedicated resources at a lower monthly price.

Dedicated servers are unmanaged and are therefore better suited to experienced system administrators, development teams, hosting companies, or businesses with access to external server-management assistance.

Domain registration covers extensions such as .COM.MX, .MX, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, and .ORG.MX, together with several newer generic extensions. Domains are registered in the customer’s name and can be transferred to another registrar in accordance with the applicable registry rules.

WHOIS privacy is available for customers who want to reduce the public exposure of their registrant contact information.

The Cloud Email service operates independently from the web hosting packages. Business Lite includes 10 GB per mailbox, while Enterprise includes a 25 GB mailbox and an additional 25 GB of cloud file storage.

Both email packages support webmail, mobile access, IMAP, POP, SMTP, spam filtering, shared contacts, shared calendars, autoresponders, and mailbox migration through IMAP. This makes the service suitable for businesses that need professional email without purchasing a complete web hosting account.

Additional products include paid SSL certificates, automated website monitoring, malware protection, and CodeGuard offsite backups. Standard paid SSL certificates cost MXN 300 per year, although the principal hosting and server packages already include free SSL certificates.

The website operates in Spanish, prices are displayed in Mexican pesos, and IVA is added separately. Mexican electronic invoices can be generated through the customer portal.

The interface retains an older and relatively narrow design. Some sections have also remained unchanged while the product catalog has evolved. One comparison section refers to ordinary shared-hosting storage as HDD, while the current package specifications use NVMe storage. An older free-domain section also differs from the current packages that include a domain registration for the first year.

The announcements section has received limited updates, and copyright years vary between different parts of the website. The current checkout configuration should therefore be treated as the definitive source for prices, package resources, and included services.

The shared-hosting resource policy contains strict usage limits. These include 16 MB of memory per process, five simultaneous processes, 25,000 files per account, ten simultaneous MySQL connections, a maximum database size of 2 GB, and 3,000 database queries per hour.

Several of these limits are restrictive for modern WordPress installations, WooCommerce stores, Moodle platforms, heavily used content-management systems, or database-intensive applications. Customers expecting significant traffic or complex scripts should confirm the currently enforced limits before ordering.
