HostHouse is a Kazakhstan web-hosting and domain-registration provider operated by ТОО "LiO ProgramS" in Shymkent. The company was established in 2004, while commercial hosting services began in 2005 after an initial period of hosting websites created for customers of its web-development activity.

HostHouse remains a small and locally focused provider rather than part of a large international hosting group. Its services are mainly suitable for individuals, local companies, web developers and organizations that prefer to keep websites and business email on infrastructure located in Kazakhstan. More than 700 websites have used its hosting environment.

The service portfolio covers Linux SSD shared hosting, 1C-Bitrix hosting, email hosting, Kazakhstan domain registration, domain transfers and DNS management. VPS, dedicated servers, reseller hosting, Windows hosting, cloud infrastructure, colocation, VPN, CDN and website-builder packages are not part of the current offer.

The standard SSD shared-hosting range includes five plans with storage capacities from 2 GB to 30 GB. All packages support unlimited websites, subdomains, email accounts, FTP users, MySQL databases and database users. This gives customers considerable flexibility when hosting several small websites under one account, although CPU, memory, disk operations and concurrent processes remain controlled by CloudLinux limits.

The entry package includes one CPU core, 1 GB of physical memory, 2 GB of virtual memory, 1,024 IOPS and 30 concurrent entry processes. Larger packages increase physical memory to 2 GB, virtual memory to 3 GB and entry processes to as many as 60. The Business and Representation packages receive two CPU cores, while the largest plan also increases storage performance to 2,048 IOPS.

PHP versions from 4.4 through 8.2 are available from the hosting control panel. This broad compatibility is useful for customers maintaining older applications, although legacy PHP versions should only be used when absolutely necessary because they no longer receive normal security maintenance.

CloudLinux separates hosting accounts and enforces individual limits for processor usage, memory, virtual memory, disk operations and concurrent processes. CageFS adds another isolation layer by restricting each customer to their own file system. Antivirus scanning, malware notifications and backup copies stored on a separate server are included.

Every standard hosting package can run 1C-Bitrix. There is no separate Bitrix tariff range, so customers select a normal shared-hosting plan and configure the required PHP version, extensions and OPcache settings through cPanel. The smaller packages receive one processor core and 1,024 IOPS, while the Business and Representation plans include two cores and up to 2,048 IOPS.

The dedicated email-hosting service is intended for business mailboxes, temporary landing pages and static HTML websites. PHP, MySQL databases and FTP access are not included, which means these plans cannot be used for WordPress, online stores or other dynamic applications.

Three email packages provide 3.6 GB, 9 GB or 18 GB of storage. They support 100, 150 or unlimited mailboxes, depending on the selected plan. Customers can access email through four secure webmail interfaces, while daily, weekly and monthly backup copies provide additional protection against accidental deletion or mailbox corruption.

Domain registration is concentrated on Kazakhstan extensions. HostHouse registers and renews .kz, .com.kz, .org.kz and Cyrillic .қаз domains. The customer system also includes WHOIS searches, DNS-server changes, child nameserver registration, domain contact management and transfers between customer accounts.

Domain transfers follow a relatively traditional administrative procedure. A signed application may be required depending on whether the registrant is an individual, entrepreneur or legal entity. Some examples in the transfer documentation use older pricing figures, so the active order price should be treated as the current cost.

The proprietary customer portal supports individuals, entrepreneurs and companies. It manages hosting and domain orders, account balances, invoices, payer profiles, service expenses, payment records, expiration notifications, support requests and SMS alerts.

Customers can temporarily deactivate hosting and stop daily service charges. Deactivated accounts may remain stored for up to six months before permanent deletion. This can be useful for seasonal websites or projects that need to be paused without immediately removing all account data.

HostHouse is primarily intended for Russian-speaking customers. The website, customer portal, legal documentation and ordering process are available in Russian. No multi-language/localized version exists. Prices are displayed in Kazakhstani tenge.

The website and customer portal use an older fixed-width design that is more comfortable on desktop computers than on small mobile screens. The interface remains functional, but its structure, visual presentation and account-management workflow are noticeably less modern than those of larger hosting providers. The visible customer-portal version is 0.9.17 b2, while its public development history has not been updated for several years.
