*📜 Plan description
The GoPLUS plan is the most powerful tier in HostGo’s shared hosting range, offering 40 GB of storage and 4 TB of monthly data transfer. Customers can create an unlimited number of databases, add‑on domains and sub‑domains and enjoy unlimited email accounts with IMAP/POP3 access, spam and virus scanning, webmail and extensive autoresponder and forwarding options. The package uses the cPanel control panel to deliver comprehensive file, domain and email management and includes Softaculous one‑click installations, FTP, SSH and WebDAV access and cron scheduling. Like the smaller plans, GoPLUS features off‑site backups, cloud‑based servers and a free AutoSSL certificate for easy HTTPS deployment.
Standard features across the shared hosting lineup apply here: 24×7 US‑based phone and email support, a 30‑day money‑back guarantee, integrated website builder, daily website statistics and search engine submission. The programming environment supports MySQL, multiple PHP versions, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java servlets and server‑side includes. Offsite backups and cloud infrastructure enhance reliability. GoPLUS is ideal for resource‑intensive sites needing extra space, bandwidth and email capacity while maintaining unlimited add‑on domains and access to a rich array of programming tools and security features.

📄 Editorial Review
HostGo is a long-running, U.S.-based hosting provider with more than 25 years of experience in shared hosting, domains, email and server management. The brand operates closely with RegisterGo for domain registration, so customers can keep both hosting and domains under one roof and manage everything from the same WHMCS-powered portal. The focus is on classic, reliable web hosting rather than trendy gimmicks: Linux hosting with cPanel, strong email tools, managed VPS, and a heavy emphasis on human, US-based support. The core offering is Linux shared web hosting on cloud-based infrastructure, built around four main plans: GoSTARTER, GoLITE, GoPLUS and GoBUSINESS. Disk space ranges from roughly 20 GB up to 50 GB, with generous monthly data transfer (up to 5000 GB) and unlimited MySQL databases, add-on domains and sub-domains on the upper tiers. All plans run on cPanel, include a website builder, one-click installers, SSH and FTP access, and offsite backups. Email is integrated rather than an afterthought: even the smaller plans include dozens of mailboxes with antivirus and spam filtering, webmail, autoresponders and mailing lists. A 30-day money-back guarantee and 24×7 US-based phone and email support make this shared hosting layer feel safe for small businesses and individuals who want something stable without micro-managing the platform.
Above that sits a strong reseller hosting line aimed at web designers, agencies and small providers who want to run their own hosting business. Plans from Iron up to Platinum provide 50–200 GB of disk space and 500–1400 GB of bandwidth, but the real value is in the structure: WHM access, unlimited cPanel accounts, unlimited domains, private nameservers, offsite backups and cloud-based servers. Reseller accounts come with a 99.9% uptime commitment and the same 24/7 US-based support, so designers can focus on their clients while HostGo handles the underlying infrastructure.
For projects that need more horsepower, HostGo offers a comprehensive range of Managed VPS Hosting plans. The lineup runs from Managed VPS 1 (around 4 GB RAM, 2 vCPUs, 80 GB storage, 4 TB transfer) up through large-scale nodes with up to 192 GB RAM, 32 vCPUs and multi-terabyte storage. All of these are fully managed: HostGo takes care of OS and control panel updates, security patches, monitoring and backups, while the customer focuses on sites and applications. A 99.9% uptime guarantee, daily backups, and included free SSL certificates give these VPS packages a very "hands-off" feel for businesses that want server-level resources without hiring in-house admins. Optional add-ons such as CloudLinux, Imunify360, JetBackup, KernelCare, Softaculous and MailChannels let more demanding users harden security and tune performance further.
One of the standout segments is WordPress Optimized Hosting. Rather than simply running WordPress on generic shared hosting, HostGo offers dedicated plans (from WP-Mini through WP-Agency) that combine LiteSpeed web server, SSD & NVMe storage, unlimited pageviews and integrated WordPress Toolkit management. Plans scale from a couple of WordPress installs with 5 GB disk up to around 50 installs with 100 GB disk, making them suitable from freelancers up to agencies managing many client sites. Features like free migrations, free SSL, automated backups with JetBackup, staging and cloning options, and the claim of 3–6× faster performance than "normal" hosting make this tier particularly appealing for serious WordPress users who want speed but still prefer traditional cPanel access instead of a totally closed "platform" host.
Beyond hosting itself, HostGo covers a lot of the surrounding ecosystem. Through the integrated RegisterGo brand, customers can register and manage a wide range of domain extensions, with hundreds of new gTLDs available and starter prices around $8/year for basic domains. There is also a HostGo Website Builder for users who want a straightforward drag-and-drop site builder with built-in e-commerce and responsive templates. Email services go beyond simple cPanel mailboxes, with options for Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and SmarterMail, plus email security add-ons. On top of that sit SSL certificates, a web application firewall (WAF) and SEO services, so many small businesses can build an entire online presence without leaving the HostGo ecosystem.
The customer portal and order flows are multi-language and multi-currency, which is a nice touch given that HostGo mentions happy clients in more than 50 countries. The WHMCS store lets visitors view prices in USD, EUR, GBP and INR, and the support portal/knowledgebase can be viewed in several languages (English, Romanian, Czech, Swedish, Arabic, Ukrainian, Estonian, Farsi and others), which makes the platform accessible to international customers even though the company itself is firmly US-based. Overall, the general impression is of a conservative but very complete hosting provider: not trend-driven, but service-driven, with a lot of "classic" hosting functionality refined over decades.

😠 Terrible Customer service and Billing
If you have any issues all the customer service people can do is take a message. Then you wait and wait and wait. Call again, send emails and no one responds. I have an email and phone trail that goes for over 2 months with no resolution.
Then when you decide to cancel- forget the 100% refund for money back if you are not satisfied. They tell you there is no refunds!!!!
