Hoster.ru is an established Russian hosting and infrastructure provider whose history dates to 2000, with commercial domain registration and hosting operations beginning in 2001. The service is operated by Registrar LLC and forms part of Filanco (filanco.ru), a Russian telecommunications group founded in 1999. The wider group combines web hosting, domain services, Internet connectivity, traffic exchange, cloud infrastructure, and data center operations.

Hoster.ru has grown well beyond conventional shared hosting and covers most services required by Russian-speaking website owners, developers, online stores, and businesses. Linux shared hosting is divided between inexpensive classic PHP plans and higher-capacity SSD packages. The classic range works well for personal websites, landing pages, blogs, and modest company sites, while the SSD plans provide more resources for customers managing several projects.
