Hoster.KZ is one of Kazakhstan’s longest-established hosting and domain-service companies. The hoster.kz domain was registered in 2004, when co-founder Denis Sukhachev obtained domain-registrar rights. Sukhachev and Victoria Bandelman subsequently developed the business together, and formal operations under the Hoster.KZ company brand began in 2007.

The business operates through TOO "Kompaniya Hoster.KZ" from Karaganda. It serves more than 30,000 customers, maintains a fleet of over 300 servers and has grown into a substantial local technology employer. Hoster.KZ also became Kazakhstan’s first accredited registrar for the national .KZ domain extension.

Its portfolio extends well beyond basic website hosting. Customers can order domain registration, DNS management, shared hosting, specialized 1C-Bitrix hosting, cloud VPS, dedicated servers, SSL certificates, server control-panel licenses, system administration, website development, CRM implementation and IP telephony. This makes the company particularly practical for Kazakhstan-based businesses that prefer to keep their domains, infrastructure, technical support, billing and accounting documentation with a single local supplier.

Shared hosting is divided into Economy and Turbo packages. The smallest Economy configuration includes 1 GB of NVMe storage, 256 MB of RAM and one virtual processor. Larger Economy packages increase storage to 24 GB and memory to 1 GB. Websites, subdomains, MariaDB databases, mailboxes and FTP accounts are not restricted by a fixed numerical allowance, although actual usage remains subject to the processing and memory resources of the selected plan.

The lower Economy packages work best for simple company websites, personal projects, landing pages and lightweight content-management systems. Their relatively modest RAM allocations may become restrictive for busy WordPress websites, larger databases or heavily extended e-commerce installations.

The Turbo hosting range provides considerably more processing power. Turbo-1 includes 15 GB of NVMe storage, 1 GB of RAM and two virtual processors. Larger plans increase storage to 100 GB and memory to 4 GB. These configurations are better suited to active WordPress websites, online catalogs, regional business portals and projects running several PHP applications.

Customers can select multiple PHP 7 and PHP 8 versions, depending on application compatibility. WordPress, Joomla and Drupal can be installed automatically, while Plesk handles websites, databases, mailboxes, FTP access, SSL certificates, backups and PHP configuration.

Each shared-hosting account includes antivirus protection, a seven-day test period and free migration for as many as three websites. Automatic backups are created once per week, with no more than two provider-generated copies retained at the same time. Customers can create additional manual backups, but these consume space from the hosting account. A separate off-site backup remains advisable for commercial websites and irreplaceable data.

The Site.pro visual builder is integrated into the hosting environment for users who want to create a basic website without programming. It is suitable for small company pages, portfolios and simple presentations, while more complex e-commerce or custom database projects will generally require a conventional CMS or professional development service.

1C-Bitrix hosting is optimized for websites, portals and online stores built with the 1C-Bitrix content-management system. These packages combine NVMe storage with higher process limits than ordinary shared hosting. Customers can also purchase a 1C-Bitrix license and arrange its installation together with the hosting account.

This service is especially relevant to companies already using Russian-language and CIS-oriented business software. It provides a more appropriate environment for Bitrix projects than an entry-level shared package, particularly where an online store depends on regular catalog synchronization, CRM integration or business-management applications.

Cloud VPS plans provide full operating-system control. Entry-level configurations begin with one virtual processor, 1 GB of RAM and 25 GB of NVMe storage. Larger plans reach eight virtual processors, 16 GB of RAM and 400 GB of storage. One IPv4 address is included, and additional addresses can be ordered when technically justified.

Customers select the operating system during deployment and receive an isolated environment for custom web applications, development systems, business software, databases and projects that have outgrown shared hosting. The cloud platform also makes it easier to increase resources without immediately moving to a physical dedicated server.

Cloud VPS plans are primarily self-managed. Hoster.KZ maintains the virtualization platform and network connection, while operating-system configuration, application updates, security hardening and troubleshooting remain the customer’s responsibility unless server-administration services are purchased.

The service conditions prohibit using cloud servers to proxy, route or relay third-party traffic. These restrictions make the platform unsuitable for public VPN services, open proxy networks and traffic-transit operations.

Dedicated servers range from Intel Xeon E3 systems with 16 GB of RAM and dual SSD storage to dual-processor configurations with several hundred gigabytes of memory and large NVMe arrays. The catalog is suitable for database servers, high-traffic applications, virtualization platforms, private business systems and workloads requiring exclusive physical resources.

Basic deployment, permanent IPMI or iLO access, DCImanager and an internet connection of up to 100 Mbps are included. Remote-management access allows customers to restart the machine, use a console, reinstall software and troubleshoot low-level problems without visiting the server facility. A seven-day test can be arranged, although the exact conditions for dedicated hardware may need to be coordinated with an account manager.

Domain services cover new registrations, transfers, renewals, WHOIS information and DNS management across more than 111 domain extensions. The company’s strongest specialization remains Kazakhstan’s namespace, including .KZ, .ORG.KZ and the Cyrillic .ҚАЗ extension.

Hoster.KZ also operates a domain-compliance checker. This is particularly useful because websites using Kazakhstan domain names must comply with local placement rules. A qualifying website generally needs to operate from infrastructure in Kazakhstan, use a Kazakhstan IP address and maintain a valid SSL certificate where encrypted access is required.

SSL certificates are available with domain validation, organization validation and extended validation. Wildcard certificates can protect multiple subdomains, while free Let’s Encrypt certificates can be activated through Plesk. Commercial certificates include assistance with issuance and installation.

The company also handles server administration, turnkey website development, Bitrix24 CRM configuration and IP telephony. Email hosting is included within the shared-hosting environment rather than maintained as a clearly separated mailbox-only product.

The customer interface, commercial information and knowledge base are available in Russian and Kazakh. No English version exists. International customers may therefore need translation assistance when comparing plans, reviewing contractual conditions or communicating about technical and billing matters.

Services are billed in Kazakhstani tenge, making the platform most convenient for local individuals, companies and organizations that need Kazakhstan invoices and accounting documents.
