HosTeam is a Polish web hosting and server infrastructure provider operating since 2009. The business originally developed around Bartosz Waszak, Tomasz Groszewski and Łukasz Groszewski, who remain closely associated with the company today. The current operating entity is HosTeam sp. z o.o., registered in 2019, with all three serving on its management board and holding approximately equal ownership interests. On June 2, 2025, the former HosTeam limited partnership was merged into HosTeam sp. z o.o., consolidating the business under the present corporate structure.

HosTeam remains a relatively compact company with a technically focused profile rather than the structure of a large international mass-market host. Its core business covers Shared Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Domain Registration, Business Email, Anti-DDoS protection, backups, guaranteed bandwidth, server migrations and custom infrastructure projects. More complex assignments can include application and server migrations, performance optimization, audits, high-availability systems and individually designed hosting environments.

The shared-hosting portfolio is divided into Standard SSD Hosting and NVMe Hosting. Both families combine web hosting and business email under the company's own management platform. Standard SSD plans range from smaller Eco packages through considerably larger Business accounts, with the largest configurations providing up to 1 TB for website data and another 1 TB for email. NVMe plans dedicate faster storage to websites and applications, while keeping larger separate allocations for mail.

The hosting platform is technically stronger than a typical basic shared-hosting environment. It includes LiteSpeed, HTTP/2, HTTP/3 with QUIC, HSTS, Brotli compression, OCSP stapling, automatic Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, wildcard SSL, cron, Composer and WP-CLI. MySQL, MariaDB and PostgreSQL databases are supported, together with phpMyAdmin and pgAdmin.

WordPress can be installed automatically and the environment also accommodates Joomla, Drupal, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Magento. Multiple PHP branches remain available, including current PHP 8.x releases and older versions required by legacy applications. This makes the platform practical not only for new websites but also for applications that cannot immediately be migrated to the newest PHP release.

Business-level NVMe hosting adds SSH access and a dedicated IP address with SSL. Customers therefore have considerably more development flexibility than with hosting packages restricted entirely to browser-based administration.

Email is an important part of the shared-hosting service. Accounts support IMAP, POP3 and SMTP over encrypted TLS connections together with Roundcube webmail. Mail authentication and deliverability technologies include DKIM, SPF, DMARC, ARC, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT. Rspamd handles spam filtering and ClamAV provides antivirus scanning. Aliases, redirects, catch-all mailboxes, Sieve filtering and vacation responders are also available.

Security combines account isolation, cgroups, web application firewall protection, Anti-DDoS filtering, encrypted FTP, IPv6 connectivity and resource limits covering CPU, RAM, disk I/O, inodes and PHP workers. These controls reduce the risk of one account consuming disproportionate resources or affecting other customers on the same platform.

Backups are considerably more structured than a simple single daily snapshot. HosTeam uses geographically separated backup storage, encryption both at rest and during transmission, immutable backup copies and periodic restore testing. The infrastructure includes daily, weekly and monthly recovery points, while shared-hosting accounts also benefit from automatic backup retention designed to provide multiple restore opportunities. Customers with business-critical retention requirements should still select the exact backup policy appropriate to their service because retention differs between infrastructure layers and hosting products.

The KVM VPS range is aimed at customers who need an independent operating-system environment. Entry-level Bronze provides 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 15 GB SSD storage, while Silver, Gold and Titanium progressively increase processor, memory and storage resources. Customizable PRO virtual servers extend considerably further, reaching configurations with up to 16 vCPU, 64 GB RAM and 500 GB SSD.

VPS instances include IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, unlimited data transfer, DDoS protection and full administrative access. Linux servers provide root access, while Windows instances provide administrator-level control. Backup options are available and virtual machines can normally be provisioned automatically shortly after payment.

Customers can install Plesk, cPanel, DirectAdmin or another preferred server-management platform on a VPS. Additional IPv4 addresses can also be ordered. The service is suitable for websites, databases, application servers, development environments, VPN services, e-commerce platforms and game servers.

Dedicated Servers are handled as individually configured infrastructure rather than a mass-market catalog of fixed hardware combinations. Processor, memory, storage, networking and management requirements are agreed for each project. The entire physical server is reserved for the customer, making the service appropriate for workloads that need dedicated resources or customized hardware.

This approach is especially useful for companies that need more than a predefined server package. Dedicated systems can form part of larger migration, performance, high-availability or infrastructure-management projects rather than functioning only as standalone bare-metal machines.

Domain Registration covers hundreds of extensions, including .pl, .com, .eu and .org. DNSSEC is supported together with WHOIS privacy where permitted by the registry. DNS management includes A, AAAA, MX, CNAME and TXT records, and automatic renewals can be enabled. Existing domains can be transferred using their authorization codes, while hosting and domain registration do not have to be purchased together.

HosTeam also offers SEO and GEO services in cooperation with Bee On Top. These services combine technical SEO, audits, link building, content strategy, competitor analysis, Google Business Profile optimization, analytics, UX work, copywriting and advertising services. GEO packages extend this work toward visibility in generative-AI search and answer systems. These services are separate from the infrastructure business but give business customers the option of combining hosting and online marketing through one commercial relationship.

The website is available in Polish and English, although the Polish version remains the more complete localization and some English-language sections still contain Polish content. Prices are primarily denominated in Polish złoty (PLN). The design is modern, responsive and suitable for both desktop and mobile use.
