Hannover IT is an Iranian web hosting, domain registration, corporate email, and IT-services company with technical roots extending back to 1994. Its original team worked with Iranet and BBS technology during the early commercial Internet period in Iran, building a text-based network in southeastern Iran. By 1995, the operation had Internet connectivity using TCP/IP and was already providing electronic mail. Hannover IT formally began operating under its present identity in 2004.

The Hannover name comes from the German city where the company's founders studied and gained practical experience with data-center environments, including Server Service GmbH. This background still influences the business, especially through the continued use of both Iranian and German hosting infrastructure.

Hosting is only one part of a broader technical organization. Hannover IT has also worked with telecommunications boards, Internet of Things systems, microcontrollers, PLC programming, VoIP, networking, software development, computer vision, and automation. This wider engineering background differentiates the company from providers focused only on domain registration and inexpensive shared hosting.

The hosting portfolio centers on Linux Shared Hosting in Iran and Germany, with Economy cPanel Hosting, Standard cPanel Hosting, and Professional WordPress Hosting as the main categories. The Professional WordPress Hosting range is the most resource-intensive shared-hosting option. Packages include 60 GB, 80 GB, and 120 GB of storage together with LiteSpeed Cache, free SSL, larger website and database allowances, and higher CPU and memory limits. The 60 GB configuration includes four CPU cores and 4 GB RAM, while the largest 120 GB package reaches five CPU cores and 5 GB RAM.

The largest Professional package includes approximately 700 GB of monthly traffic. Some general hosting wording refers to unlimited traffic, while the detailed package specifications assign defined traffic allowances to individual plans. Customers with heavy bandwidth requirements should therefore rely on the exact limits attached to the ordered package.

WordPress and Joomla installation are available without an additional installation charge. LiteSpeed Cache improves WordPress performance, while Node.js support makes the environment suitable for more than traditional PHP-only websites.

Some older Hannover IT service terminology still includes Gold Hosting, Unlimited Hosting, volume hosting, and virtual-server references. The current retail structure is much more clearly organized around Economy, Standard, and Professional WordPress shared hosting. Hannover IT does not currently maintain a prominent retail Dedicated Server catalog, and its virtual-server references are no longer a central part of the main hosting offer.

Domain Registration covers .IR domains together with a broad selection of international extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .co, and numerous country-code or specialist domains. Customers can manage DNS records, WHOIS information, transfer credentials, and other domain settings from their account.

Free domains included with selected hosting packages apply only to the first eligible registration period and normally to the primary domain ordered with the hosting account. Normal renewal fees apply afterward.

Another substantial service is Corporate Email Hosting, aimed at organizations that need a dedicated environment rather than ordinary shared-hosting mailboxes. The solution can use a dedicated mail server and dedicated IP and is available from either Iran or Germany. Features include webmail, Outlook connectivity, Android and iOS support, integration with organizational software, unlimited email accounts, and storage expandable up to 1 TB.

Corporate email is delivered as a managed service. Hannover IT handles the mail-server administration, while the customer can focus on account and organizational use. Activation generally requires formal company documentation, a contract, and a designated technical contact. Deployment can normally be completed within approximately 24 hours after the required paperwork is completed.

A dedicated mail-server IP also reduces exposure to reputation problems caused by unrelated users sending spam from the same shared mail environment.

Hannover IT also provides Ready-Made Websites / Web Design. These packages combine website creation with hosting, email, and a .IR domain and are intended for companies or professionals that want a complete website without building it internally. Bronze, Silver, and Gold packages include approximately 1 GB, 3 GB, and 5 GB of hosting respectively, with typical completion targeted within seven working days after the required content and images are supplied.

The company also works with microcontroller programming, embedded systems, Siemens Simatic S7 PLC programming, office automation, networking, telecommunications, VoIP, real-time computer vision, and custom software development using technologies such as Delphi, C#, and C++.
