GSP Services, Inc. is a long-established US hosting provider operating since 1994, giving the company more than three decades of experience with virtual servers and managed infrastructure. Based in Crofton, Maryland, GSP concentrates primarily on VPS and managed server services rather than conventional low-cost shared hosting.

The current portfolio is centered on Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and Managed Private Servers (MPS). Customers receive isolated server environments suitable for hosting multiple domains, applications, databases, email services and development environments, with administrative-level access and considerable freedom over the installed software stack.

The VPS family consists of VPS A Starter, VPS B Basic, VPS C Preferred and VPS D Commercial. Resources scale from 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 64 GB SSD storage with VPS A to 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM and 768 GB SSD storage with VPS D. VPS B provides 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD, while VPS C increases resources to 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD.

One of the more distinctive aspects of GSP is the choice between Intel and ARM server platforms together with several Unix-oriented operating systems. Intel and ARM VPS configurations support FreeBSD 15 and Rocky Linux 10, while customers preferring a conventional graphical hosting environment can select AlmaLinux 10 with cPanel & WHM. FreeBSD remains particularly useful for experienced Unix administrators, as relatively few mainstream VPS providers still give it equal prominence alongside Linux.

The infrastructure uses SSD storage and virtualized compute with dedicated resource allocations. Physical cloud hosts can reach configurations with up to two 96-core Intel Xeon processors, providing as many as 192 cores and 384 processing threads. Server and network systems are monitored continuously, while disaster-recovery protection includes snapshots and geographically separated backup copies.

The Managed Private Server service is designed for companies needing more customized and fully managed infrastructure. Server storage can extend to approximately 100 TB, while NFSv4 storage volumes can scale as high as 1 PB. These configurations are handled individually rather than through a fixed self-service package table.

Customers may also resell resources from their own Virtual Servers, provided downstream users follow the same service conditions. This gives agencies, developers and smaller hosting businesses the ability to operate reseller-style environments without requiring a separate traditional reseller-hosting package.

The GSP website retains a distinctly old-school appearance, with compact navigation and a layout originating from an earlier generation of hosting sites. The main VPS, operating-system and pricing information has nevertheless been actively updated during 2026.
