Got.Net is a long-established California Internet and hosting provider operated by The Internet Connection, Inc., with service history going back to 1995. The company developed around the Santa Cruz and Monterey Bay Internet market and now operates from Salinas, California. Jason Campbell is associated with the company as founder, while Cliff Greenberg serves as CEO.

Got.Net is considerably broader than a conventional shared-hosting provider. The higher-end Proxmox infrastructure is substantially more powerful. An XSMALL configuration includes one host with 32 physical CPU cores, 384 GB RAM, 3 TB NVMe storage, 3 TB HDD storage and 1 TB S3 capacity. Larger configurations scale to four hosts with 128 physical cores, 1.5 TB RAM, 15 TB NVMe, 15 TB HDD storage and 7 TB S3 capacity. Proxmox backups, cluster configuration, networking, storage administration and migration support are included. Security options include ZTNA, MFA, vulnerability scanning and penetration-testing functions.

Dedicated servers are available for customers needing physical hardware rather than virtual infrastructure. One managed configuration uses a Cisco C220 M4 with 24 CPU cores, 64 GB RAM, two 1 TB SSD drives and 10 TB transfer over a 1 GbE connection. Dedicated systems include a dedicated IP address, DDoS protection and hardware/software support, while custom server configurations are available for more demanding projects.

Professional email uses SmarterMail and supports domain-based mailboxes with SSD storage, IMAP, POP3, aliases, forwarding, SSL, backups, antivirus and anti-spam protection. Got.Net also maintains @got.net and @mbay.net hosted mailboxes. Secure IMAP, POP3 and SMTP access allows the service to work with Thunderbird, Apple devices and other standard email applications.

Other services include domain registration and transfers, SSL certificates, Cloud DNS and business VoIP. Cloud DNS operates through a global Anycast architecture and carries a 100% DNS uptime guarantee.
