GetHost is a Zimbabwean hosting and cloud-services provider founded in 2019, with its main operations in Harare, Zimbabwe. Proud Nyamare is a co-founder and Managing Director, while the business operates as GetHost Web Hosting [Private limited]. Its service portfolio is primarily suited to Zimbabwean individuals, small businesses, developers, agencies and organizations that want local support and payment options while still using hosting infrastructure capable of serving an international audience.

The company covers considerably more than conventional shared hosting. Customers can use GetHost for domain registration and transfers, Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Cloud VPS, managed cloud servers, Dedicated Hosting, Business Email, OX App Suite, Google Workspace, Website Builder, Website Design, SSL certificates, server management and agency-oriented hosting services. This makes it possible to keep domains, websites, email and server infrastructure within one provider.

Shared Web Hosting is available using either the GetHost Control Panel or cPanel. The Get Bronze package accommodates three websites with 7 GB NVMe storage, Get Silver increases this to five websites and 20 GB, while Get Gold supports unlimited websites with 50 GB. These packages include unlimited bandwidth, email accounts, SSL certificates, DNS management, website migration, CDN functionality, anti-bot protection, DDoS protection, PHP OPCache and optimized PHP-FPM. The GetHost Control Panel hosting range carries a 99.99% uptime guarantee.

Shared accounts use CloudLinux isolation with CageFS and LVE resource controls. Entry-level accounts start with around one CPU core, 1 GB of physical memory, 10 MB/s I/O, 1,024 IOPS and 10 concurrent entry processes. MySQL usage is also subject to resource limits, including up to 15 concurrent connections. This makes the shared environment suitable for ordinary company websites, WordPress installations, blogs and smaller online stores, while applications with sustained CPU, memory or database requirements are better placed on VPS infrastructure.

Backup functionality is integrated into the shared environment through JetBackup. Full-account incremental backups cover website files, databases and email, with off-site copies and self-service restoration. The Cloud VPS range includes both self-managed and fully managed choices. Entry-level self-managed cloud servers provide 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB SSD storage, unlimited traffic and a static IPv4 address. Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS are among the operating-system choices. Larger packages increase resources to configurations such as 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 100 GB storage.

Managed Cloud VPS plans move further toward a complete managed-hosting service. Enhanced and Premium packages increase processor allocation, RAM, storage and network capacity. Email services are available independently from web hosting. Business Email provides custom-domain mailboxes together with spam filtering, webmail and IMAP access. OX App Suite expands this into a collaboration environment with shared calendars, contacts and tasks. Agencies that preload at least $50 into their account receive a 35% discount on eligible Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Email Hosting and Website Builder services. Domain registrations are excluded, and agencies remain responsible for managing their own end customers.

Domain services have particular value for the Zimbabwean market. .co.zw, .org.zw and other local extensions can be registered alongside international domains. Transfers of .co.zw, .org.zw and other .zw domains are free, while .co.za transfers can also be completed without a standard transfer charge. International domain transfers use the normal authorization-code procedure. Customers can manage nameservers, contact details and renewals from their account.

The main website is available in English. The client and billing environment also provides localized interfaces in several languages, including Romanian, Czech, Turkish, Catalan and Ukrainian.
