*📜 Plan description

Rust, ARK: Survival Evolved, Space Engineers, and 7 Days To Die hosting starts with 10 GB memory, 20 GB NVMe storage, and 1.5 vCores. Includes instant activation, DDoS protection, 24/7 support, mod and plugin support, FTP/SFTP access, daily backups, and the GameServerKings game panel for console, files, schedules, backups, network settings, startup variables, and restarts. Uses NVMe storage, cancel-anytime billing, and a 99.9 percent uptime guarantee.

📄 Editorial Review

GameServerKings is a specialist game-server and bare-metal hosting provider built for multiplayer communities, modded servers, streamers, clans, and customers that need gaming infrastructure rather than ordinary shared web hosting. Their best fit is not a standard website owner looking for cheap cPanel hosting, but a customer running titles such as Rust, Minecraft, ARK: Survival Evolved, Palworld, Project Zomboid, Satisfactory, 7 Days to Die, Arma 3, Terraria, Unturned, DayZ, and similar games where latency, fast deployment, DDoS protection, and server control are important.

The company operates under the HostingKing, Inc. business identity, with public company information connected to Dallas, Texas. Their infrastructure profile is also connected with HostingKing Inc. / Game Kings Ltd and the AS26863 network.

Their current product line includes Game Server Hosting, Dedicated Game Servers / Bare Metal Hosting, DDoS Protection, BGP & BYOIP, and Remote Protection. They do not operate like a traditional web hosting company selling broad shared hosting, reseller hosting, domains, email hosting, or VPS plans as the main offer. The active service profile is strongly oriented toward game hosting and dedicated infrastructure.

The strongest part of the platform is the GSK Game Panel. Customers can manage servers from the browser with live console access, CPU / memory / network graphs, start-stop-restart controls, file management, startup configuration, one-click wipes, mod/plugin handling, FTP/SFTP access, backups, and upgrades depending on the selected game. This makes the service practical for less technical users, while still offering enough control for experienced community administrators.

For larger projects, Dedicated Game Servers provide bare-metal machines with high-frequency AMD Ryzen and Intel Core CPUs, NVMe storage, 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps uplinks depending on inventory, full hardware control, and either panel-managed or self-managed operation. Available processor families include Ryzen 3600, 3700X, 3900X, 5800X, 7950X, 9800X3D, 9900X, 9950X, and Intel i7/i9 models including 10900K, 11700K, 11900K, 12900K, 13900K, 14900K, and 14900KS.

The website is modern, responsive, and easy to use. It supports English and offers currency selection in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, and SGD, which helps international buyers compare pricing more easily. No strong multi-language localization was found.

😠 Terrible tech support who were combative and the servers lagged horribly most of the time. When you went to tell them about it they blamed something on your end taking no accountability. Don't waste your time with them honestly.

😠 I was with these guys for 4 years and I have to say the quality of the servers was terrible and support was even worse. Whenever I reached out to them they would often blame something on your end just to get out of troubleshooting the real issue. It's nothing more than a money grab from my experience. I was with them for so long because I tend to be over loyal and wasn't aware of all the options out there other than them. I even spent a lot of money to try one of their dedicated servers for a month and it was worse than the standard servers with ping in the toilet. I wouldn't waste your time or money with them.

😠 My server crashed all of the time. GSK claimed their software/hardware is outdated and they were searching for alternatives. The service provided was so bad that the day I switched hosts, my server wouldn't even load. Customer service was usually helpful, sadly the actual service was garbage. Don't waste your time or money.
